      Disadvantages

      Fantastic - Highly recommended!

I got this phone with my birthday money in December 07. It only cost me £60 including a £10 top up - so basically £50.

The first thing that attracted me to this is that it is very sleek and modern looking - I like a phone with style! I was also happy to learn it had a 1.3MP camera (better than my normal VGA) and built in MP3.

This particular phone is available in many colours now - black, dark pink, lilac, brown - I have the dark pink one =)

It is currently priced anywhere between £40 and £80 depending on where you shop!

Design - As I stated before the design is probably the best thing about this model. It is very sleek and smooth. It is a slider phone and when you slide it up the buttons are shown. The mains 'buttons' are actually censors which take a little while getting used to but are great afterwards. The only problem I have had is when I accidentally touch the wrong one whilst in the middle of something.

Camera - 1.3MP camera built in which is handy for when out and about without your digital camera. The quality isn't too great but its ok and I wouldn't expect any more from a phone so cheap.

MP3 player - As I previously said the phone has a built in MP3 player also. This is handy for your favorite songs and has 128MB space (enough for about 30 songs). Unfortunately this phone doesn't allow for memory cards for extra space; however this is what our bipods are for.

Keypad lock - When the phone is closed it is automatically put on keypad lock to prevent the censors being accidentally touched. To unlock whist your phone is in this state you press the volume button (which is situated on the side) twice. This then allows you to use normally - except for the numbers obviously - whilst it is closed.

Games (Java) - There is only one game built in to this but there are plenty to download for a small price. The game included is Sudoko. I admit this is not for everyone but personally i love it.

Accessories - With your purchase of this phone you also receive - Headphones, Charger, USB cable and a draw string suede pouch. I'd recommend to use this pouch if you ever purchase this phone as it keeps it in great condition with no little scratches!

Making a phone call - This is basically the same as any other mobile phone except for the fact that the call button is a censor. You need not worry about your ear touching the censors and cutting you off as the phone goes on the automatic keypad lock when in call unless you change the volume during a call and then the censors are activated!

Overall I'd say the LG chocolate is a great buy - especially for the price. It is great value for money and also makes a fantastic fashion accessory.

Personally I'd be lost without my phone and i highly recommend this model.

      Thanks for reading! Xx

        Fantastic - Highly recommended!

After having my son it was hard to imagine how difficult it would be getting back into shape. Constantly tired from being up all night, exercise was the last thing on my mind. I barely had enough time to eat never mind evaluate what i was eating. As you can imagine this resulted in me eating the wrong things and gaining an exceptional amount of weight.

One year on from my sons birth I held my breathe and stepped onto the scales. Mortified, I glanced down at the 14st 2lb. At 5ft 3" this classed me as obese. I was shocked into action.

The next day as i was chatting to my mum about my new findings she recommended weight watchers to me. Registration was free at this time so i thought there was no harm in going along.

Before i stepped into the meeting room i felt my heart pounding. I expected everyone to judge me by how much i had let myself go. In fact, quite the opposite happened. The meeting had about 8 other people and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting.

After being welcomed by the group leader I filled in a small amount of registration paperwork and collected my membership card. Afterwards I joined the queue to be weighed. After this point i spoke to the leader about my ideal weight and agreed on the 10% weight loss target.

I also received a Switch handbook and Points finder among a few other pieces to help me get on my way.

After the weigh in I had a chance to have a chat with some other members. Everyone was so friendly and helped me with some tips they found worked for them.

There are two choices of eating plan - Full choice, which is more flexible on what you can eat and No count, which is designed to steer completely away from snacking.

For the Full Choice plan you are given a points allowance for each day depending on your weight, excursive levels, gender, age, etc. Each food you eat throughout the day is given a points value depending on their calories and saturated fat levels. Whatever you eat is deducted from your point's allowance.

As for the No Count plan you are given a points allowance of 21 per week. You are allowed to eat 3 meals a day from the list of 'free foods' given to you. If you still want to snack you have to deduct points from your weekly allowance.

I personally chose the flexibility of the Full Choice plan. Over the past year i have lost 2st 9lb in weight and have stopped going to the meetings. I now continue my weight watchers program at home and still pop in to the occasional meeting for guidance.

I met some great friends through the weight watchers meetings so we still give each other support. Although i have not reached my ideal weight yet i don't think i have long to go. I can do much more with my son now and i will always encourage him to keep himself healthy - to eat well and excursive.

At 4.95 per week I'd say weight watchers is very great. What's 4.95 for the healthy weight and confidence you have always dreamed of?

If you are temped you could always log on to the Weight Watchers website and have a look for yourself or to find you nearest meeting.

        www.weightwatchers.co.uk

        or call 08457 123 000

If you don't feel the meetings are for you or you just can't possibly make the weekly meetings, you could always try their online program and see if that has what you are looking for.

Either way Weight Watchers has given me the confidence I have been seeking and i would highly recommend to anyone who has 10lbs or more to lose.

          Would not recommend

Out shopping for a new external hard drive the Seagate FreeAgent Desktop caught my eye. It looked appealing with a massive 500GBs and 5 year limited warrenty as standard. I thought it was great value for money.

The dimensions are (WxDxH) 4 cm x 16.2 cm x 19 cm and it is 0.9kg in weight.

This product is black in colour with a yellow strip of light which is constantly on, though it isn't too bright so i had no problems there. It's Interface Type is Hi-Speed USB and has a Data Transfer Rate of 480 Mbps. Also has a Spindle Speed of 7200 rpm.

These are also compatible with the following -

OS Required Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Apple MacOS X 10.3.9 or later, Microsoft Windows Vista, Apple MacOS X 10.4.6 or later

          This all sounded promising.

After getting home i eagerly unpacked to see my latest purchase. However i was dissappointed as i noticed it was strangely built to stand on its' side wth a small base for support. In my opinion it looked very easy to knock over.

However, I gave the machine the benefit of the doubt as it looked pretty appealing and was pretty cheap.

The main point in this purchase was to back up some files from my PC and store family photo's to free up some disc space on my compter so you can imagine how distraught i was when it wouldn't turn on one morning - just two weeks after the purchase. Good thing i had that 5 year warrenty.

I quickly contacted Seagate and was pleased when they appeared to be genuinely sorry and asked me to send it back to them. A few days later they rang up and offered me a brand new product in place of my faulty one. I happily agreed, hoping my first encounter had been unlucky and the next one would work great.

However, just when i was starting to trust the device again the same thing happended. When i contacted Seagate this time round, they didn't seem too pleased to hear from me yet again. They told me if i wanted them to have a look at my product i would have to pay all the fees involved. - This was just 2 months after my origional purchase.

The structure of this product is very poor and I found that they are very prone to overheating. I think this is down to the plastic case.

All in all i had a very bad experience with this particular product and would advise everyone to steer clear.

To be honest I don't know what came over me to buy it anyway - Oh yes it was that ''Great value for money''.

            Disadvantages

            Highly recommended!

Watchin the television advert for Febreze Mist & Refresh I was sceptical of their new claim. ''The mist eliminates everyday odours without masking them and leaves a light and subtle scent behind. Patented odour elimination technology''

Of course, I was sceptical of this claim.

However, with thought in mind and shopping basket in hand this product manages to catch my eye in my local Tesco. Priced at £2 i thought it could do no harm in trying. I chose the cotton fresh one and headed home.

After a long day trying to get some shopping done and drag my 2 year old away from the sweets counter, i wasn't too pleased when i got home to find the my sisters cat's litter tray needing cleaned out.(We're currently cat-sitting)As we all know this can leave an very unpleasent smell lingering in your home.

But Alas! My latest purchase. So armed with my new find i gave the house a light spray over. Almost instantly i felt a burst of freshness pierce the air and felt at ease as this is so fresh and relaxing.

I was shocked a couple of hourse later when i re-entered my bedroom and the fresh fragrance was still there. Not only that but the cat smell had gone!

This product is any homeowner or pet owner for that matter's dream. It does exactly what it says on the tin and actually does get rid of bad odours lurking around the home.

Available in 4 different light frgrances which are - Spring, Cotton fresh, Morning dew and Blossum. I have tried out the Cotton fresh and Blossum and i must admit both were a delight to use.

This product comes in an aerosol type container. It has a blue opaque plastic top and also a clear opaque level situated underneath. On the front is the familiar Febreze logo with 'mist & refresh' underneath. The colours used throughout depend on the fragrance you choose.

            Spring - Reds, white
Cottom fresh - Mainly white, very pale green
Morning Dew - Light blues, light green, white
            Blossum - Light pinks, white

This particular product is a bit more pricey than similar products but we have to remember it is not only a air freshener, but an odour eliminator too. Also a little bit goes a long way and so you'll find this lasting you a lot longer than your typical air freshener.

Personally i found this an amazing buy and will continue to purchase this product. I also would highly recommend it to anyone who may happen to come across this review.

In my opionion pampers nappies are by far the best nappy product out there for baby.

I started using pampers when my son was first born and i was impressed by how compact they were but also how absorbant.

When my son reached the crawling stage i decided to experiment a little on cheaper brands of nappies but i'd say we only lasted about half way though each pack before we were rushing back to our comfort zone of pampers.

I remember trying out a supermarkets own brand and when i went to change my son the nappy had fallen appart inside and the gell went everywhere. Maybe my son just wee's alot but no nappy should do this surely.

I also tried out huggies on my little one but again had no luch with them. I found that they were very leaky and dindn't hold much wee. As for the other no.2 i'd rather not give details. Just that it was messy!

As for pampers, they always have great support and always hold the contents! They are extremelly absorbant and my little one never had a nappy rash whilst using these. As i neared the end of my experimenting stage, which i must say did not last very long at all I decided to try out the latest pampers product on sale, pampers premiums active fit.

I must say this is what a nappy is all about! Great support, great absorbancy, fantastic elastication and very comfy for little bottoms. I am pleased to say all pampers products i have used have been a pleasure and are easily to put on a wriggly 1.5 year old.

Yes pampers are more expensive than other brands but i have found out if you want cheap nappies that is exactly what your going to get. And vice versa.

Although my son has recently potty trained i am pleased to say using the pampers products was always a pleasure and this is the main reaon i will recommend them highly to all mothers who may come across this review.

              Would recommend

Who would think that walking down the street someone could tell what brand of mp3 player you are listening to by the headphones you are wearing? Well this is exactly the case with the apple iPod headphones. With its modern simplicity yet fashionable style iPod headphones are a must have for any iPod owner.

These are white in colour and have a smal L or R on each one indicating which ear it is for - Left or Right. Personally i tend not to follow this and put them in either way. On my way home from a drunken rampage on town i doubt i could even read the tiny letters never mind make sense of its importance.

One of the plus factors of these earphones is their extreme comfort. I am one for complaining, especially if the headphones themselves are causing my ear pain in any way. However this is not the case of the iPod headphones and i must admit i have worn them a for good few hours at a time with no complaint of ear pain what so ever.

The audio is great and can reach magnificent volume limit but i'd still say a slight downfall is that the quality of sound wasn't too great. Don't get me wrong i've heard worse it's just i would expect a little better sound quality coming from such a famous product.

However i must admit this slight problem hasn't stopped me from purchasing iPod headphones on their own.

Another advantage is these are compatable with any other mp3 player on the market. I have even seen myself purchase a set for use on my laptop/notebook.

At around £20 i'd say they were prety cheap for the popularity of them and the quality and comfort.

All in all these are a fantastic product. Simple yet stylish and i would recommend them to all mp3 owners.

                Would recommend this company.

I have been a member of Groiler for about 10 months now. I currently have 2 subscriptions with them- Disney and my first books. I have to say i'm unsure as to why many people have written bad reviews about this company as my experience has been delightful.

Firstly i always recieve my books on time and have a whole month to pay the outstanding balance for them.

                Disney Grolier -
I recieved a starter pack which included 6 free books and a disney bookshelf. It have since had another 18 books which come as 2 per month. My son loves the time of month when his new books arrive as he is a huge disney fan. It is great to cuddle up at bedtime and share one of these amazing stories and is a great experience for him to have whilst growing up. Each month my son recieves the two newest books as well as other items including posters, stickers etc. At £8.89 a month i'd say it was great value for money and would highly recommend this series.

My first steps to learning books -
Personally i have only been subscribing to this set for a month as it is a fairly new set so I can't say much about it other than the first 3 free books i have recieved are excellent. This inclues, My A Book, My 1 Book and My first book. The illustrations are colourful and my son enjoy learning through these books and via the flashcards you also recieve free. This subscription cost £4.99 per month but i am unsure as to what this includes as of yet. I will add to this review when i recieve the second part to these.

All in all i have received no unpleasent phone-calls or contact what so ever from Grolier and when I have contacted them in the past the staff have always been friendly and always happy to help.

Overall, I think i owe it to Grolier to give a possitive review of my experiences with them, which i beleive is what they deserve.

                  Highly recommended!!!

Looking into my make-up drawer i saw a mass of familiarity - about 6 Rimmel Soft Kohl Eyeliners. Personally i cannot go on a night out without one...or two in my handbag.

                  Why you ask?

In my opinion this brand of eye liner is by far the best. It glides on my eyes very smoothly and never tugs. I rarely have to re-apply as it very rarely does not withstand the day, which is a huge plus! I always carry a spare to give to my girlfriends on nights out and recommend to anyone!

                  Application

The application of this product is very easy and it goes on much smoother than any other i have used in the past.

                  Price

Currently priced around £3 per piece depending on where you purchase from. However, if you buy in bulk off of the web then it works out much cheaper! Hence why i have so many LOL!

                  Available Colours

This eyeliner is currently available in many colours, such as, white, black , jungle green, electric blue, liluc, navy blue and light green! The colours are vibrant and withstand the day!

                  Removal

After a long days work i really can't be bothered with the hassle of make-up removal - which often means scrubbing your face untill the product comes off. However, this is not the case with this eyeliner and removal is very easy and pleasent.

All in all i have no negative comments on this product and would say it is my all time favourite piece of make-up.
I highly recommend to every woman out there hwo may happen to come across this page!

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

Young mums can be great mums too!

Teenage pregnancy is such a general term. There is a huge different in a 14 year old getting pregnant and a 19 year old mum to be. I personally would come under this term when i had my first (at 16).

I must admit i was not a steryotypical 'teenage mum' as i achieved As and Bs in my highers and have brought up my son together with his father with the most love he could ask for. We have our own mortgage and are both employed.
It saddens me to think that many young mothers are looked down upon or frowned upon without anyone getting to know them. In my experience people can be so cruel. I had a lot of dirty looks and rude remarks throughout my pregnancy and my sons young life including 'You are a fake mother, you are young enough to be his sister' and 'Did you miss the cut off time for abortion?' These comments sickened me and i would not for one second think of an abortion. Personally my pregnancy wasn't planned but i believe my husband and myself handled it maturely and sensibly.

Is lack of sex education to blame?

I'd say no bacause i knew about contraception before i got pregnant. Unfortunetely the antobiotics i was prescribed cancelled out the pill. However, my sex education came primarily from my parents and i remember first learning about it in 4th year of high school - when i was 3 months pregnant! I believe more could be done in schools to educate but also believe it is the parents resposability too.

                  Are young mums bad mums?

Definetely not. Some young mothers can give a child a better start to life than some older mothers. Eg. A 16 year old who has just completed their exams but is still with the father and they have planned out the future and can give this child love and support. Vs. A 49 year old mother who may beat upon the child or cause neglect.

All in all i truly believe age is no factor in when you should have a baby.As long as you know you can support it and give it all the love he/she may need.

Their shabby excuse for food is pathetic and we all know too well how damaging it can be to ones health. So why is our nation striving on a place of such nature? Why are our young people flocking to such a place for lunch break?

I'll tell you why. It's because our nation promotes unhealthy foods and the young people of today's society would rather pay less for something bad for themselves than pay up a few extra pounds for something worthwhile.

Let's face it, we all want something for nothing. And with McDonalds having money off or buy one get one free coupons we'll go along just to save that extra few pounds.

This country needs to get a grip on reality, which is, more people are dying now than ever before from conditions such as heart disease and high cholestoral cause by lifestyles like this. This is not to mention the vast increase in obesity.

More money should go into healthier options for kids, rather than have them only want to go into McDonalds for the free toy, not the actual food.

Ok so the insides are semi-coulourful and you might get a balloon with your purchase, but is that worth putting your health at risk and cramming yourselves in between two other customers? One who is slabbering over a Big Mac whilst cramming some fries into his mouth and the other who just found a hair in his 100% chicken breast McNuggets?

I must admit, I would much rather have a healthy lunch which cost me twice the price than some so called 'food' from this place. Unfortunetely this is obviously not the case for everyone otherwise we would have no problems.

More needs to be done in this country to stop this before we have a generation ruined by illness' and conditions that could otherwise been preventable.

I recently moved town to a rural area with no such restarants and the difference is unreal. The local kids are outside exploring the counrtyside and generally being kids. At school they are served well balanced nutritious meals and are educated on local produce. I can only wish the success of this small village with spead across the country in the near future or who knows what we have condemned our kids to...

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

4/5 - would recommend to older players

Nintendo wii - Big brain academy :

This game is great value for money and is one of the cheapest nintendo wii games i have seen. Priced anything between £15 and £20 i'd say it is fantastic value for money.

I purchased this about 4 months ago now and i'm still hooked. I wouldn't say i play it every day but i do try to have a go at least once a week.

Not only is this game great fun but you do learn whilst playing it. I love to have a go as it gives my brain a rest from day to day motherly chores and gives me a real mental workout!

You have the choice of playing mini games or working on your profile to see how your score is getting better. I love doing both. I work on my stats to give me the much needed practice to outsmart my dear husband! It's great to see his face when i beat him.

From memorise to visualise, compute to identify and not to forget analyse, everyone will find their strong and weak points. For me my memory isn't too good but my identify skills are great. Maybe that is down to me being with the little one all day and having no adult contact, but i am proud to say i can beat my lovely husband.

This game is fun for all ages. However younger players may find the controlls and overall point to the game a little confusing, which of course is understandable.

The graphics aren't great but wht else could you expect? Nintendo games have always been lacking in graphics but they have the F factor ... Fun that is.

Overall i'd rate this game 4/5 and would recommend to older children and adults.

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

Highly recommended to all young woman!

I recieved this as a birthday gift from my gran. I was suprised by the modern taste in fragrance my dear old gran has and i'll give her all the credit this time as it is gorgeous!

At the same price as the previous Kylie perfume, Darling, this is great value for money. Depending on where you pruchase from i'd say it cost roughly £16-£20 for a 30ml bottle which i think it pretty reasonable. I'm sure you could get it even a little cheaper elsewhere!

Currently available in sizes of 30ml, 50ml and 75ml. I'm sure this product would sell anyway as it has Kylie's name on it but it is rereshing to see that she msut have put some efort into is despite her ongoing battles which is inspirational. More than can be said about some celebrities perfumes that are onthe market and smell revolting just to make them quick money.

The bottle is more long than it is tall and is very similar to the previous Kylie perfume 'Darling'. The bottle is unique in itself and is very appealing. Although the same base colours are used in this and the previous Kylie perfume, ie, soft pinks/purples 'sweet darling' has a much more cloudier colour than the previous soft colours of 'darling'.

Although the bottle in which the fragrance is contained is somewhat important what i find most important is of course the smell. This perfume has a soft sweet scent yet a strong base and is ideal for both everyday use and nights out. I have had plenty of people stop me in my tracks and ask me what i'm wearing as it smells great. It also has quite a sexy smell so is also ideal if wanting to please the special man in your life or if you want to meet that special someone. I have to say mine has been worn plenty as my husband loves it! As you can imagine this has resulted in it running out ever so quickly. However i have no problem in purchasing this again.

All in all i am delighted with this fragrance and would recommend it to all young woman out there who may come across this review!

                          Highly recommended!

I have owned Wii sports for aout 6 months now and can honestly say i am still hooked.

Whether i am training on my own, playing my son or bringing it out at a family party the game has never ceased to amaze. This game includes five games which are - boxing, bowling, golf, baseball and tennis.

I'll give a short opinion on each one.

                          Boxing -
Great fun for all the family. My 2.5 year old son loves to play and beat mummy up lol! It is also GREAT excercise and i'm puffed out after a few sessions of this. I personally love this mini game on its own!

                          Bowling -
Controls are a it tricky for younger ones but is great fun all round. Is great especially in my area where the local bowling lanes have shut down! Have all that fun but in your own home!
Baseball - Not one of my faveourites but my son adores this! Use your wii controller like a real baseball bat and play in a real baseball match.

                          Tennis -
Fantastic fun again and great for any age.

                          Golf -
I still haven't managed to grasp the controls for this one but my hunsband and his friends all love it so maybe its just me thats the problem there!

In my collection of about 16 wii games i'd say this one was the best. Its always the one i turn to if i have to entertain. And that's from my little one to my own friends!

Although the graphics aren't great the game is the most fun i've ever had on a consol in my opinion.

All in all i'd say wii sports is for anyone yound or old and will have something for everyone. I highly recommend it!

                          • Reliability

                          Disadvantages

                          Good product

Personally i tend not to fall victim to the latest products and must haves but the iPod nano 3G has to be my one exception. Being both stylish and affordable with plenty of features to keep you going i felt i did just HAVE to have one.

This generation of iPod comes in 5 different colours (aqua, red, silver, lime and black) and is available in 4GB or 8GB capacity. As with the other iPod models it models a handy scroll wheel which allows you to go from the first song on your list to the last with ease. As with all iPod's you can sync all your music on straight from your PC via iTunes software which is easily downloaded. The iPod connects via USB which is supplied with every genuine model.

From listening to my music to watching my sons first steps on video i have never been happier with a device of such nature. With a bigger and brighter screen than its previous model the nano now has the technology to play video as well as music. The visual quality is suberb and audio is good as ever.

I personally love this product and i know it will keep me entertained for the future.

But i must say how long before apple bring out yet another product for us all to fall victim to? We've already since has the iphone and itouch. It is a great product but how many do we need lying around the house?
