Just when you thought he couldn't get any funnier, McIntyre did.
This new show is even more funnier than the last, having seen this tour live, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. The man just gets funnier, his observation is amazing, and believe me there will be something in the show that you will be able to compare with your own lie, whether it be waiting in for a delivery, dreams, morning breathe and yes the good old man drawer!!!
Hooray for comedians such as McIntyre who will make you laugh with insulting or alienating anyone.
The show will have you laughing from beginning to end, in fact you will be crying, and your sides will be aching.
The man just gets better and better, and its great to see another one of those ten years in the making over night success stories.
I can not recommend McIntyre highly enough, the man is a genius and would make an excellent give yourself or a friend, go on treat yourself!!
Don't be put off my the accent, or think this middle class man won't offer humour that will make me laugh - because I guarantee you will!!
McIntyre's humour goes back to the good old days of observational humour and will have your sides splitting with laughter.
McIntyre will bring your attention to many subjects and you will find yourself not only laughing along but agreeing with him, and perhaps even blushings because you are one of the very people that McIntyre is describing. Surely every household in the land has a 'man draw'? What the DVD and you'll understand that reference.
If you enjoy McIntyre from his Roadshow or from Live from the Apollo then you will enjoy the DVD even more as it shows the comedian at this finest. If this product came with a money back guarantee I can assure you you would not be asking for a refund!! I can not speak highly enough of this man's humour.
Treat yourself to a smile and purchase this DVD
Morrisons a good old fashioned family run business and does it show!! Even today when Morrisons is in the top five supermarkets, it is homely and welcoming. Started from a market stall William Morrison soon progressed to open the first store in Bradford. I have friends from Bradford who tell tales of the first stores and how back in the day the family would all work in the Store.
What I love most about the stores, and pardon me if I sound like an advert are the in-store bakery, butchers and fishmongers and the people behind these counters know their staff and are always helpful and will offer some advise, and to top it all the food is always nice and fresh. The flowers are always fresh and long lasting, and a great place to buy your DVDs or CDs often beating their competitors on price, so it's worth doing a price comparison
When going into a store it never feels like a faceless big corporation, in fact it still feels like the friendly corner shop for those of us old enough to remember those!!
The stores are always nice and clean, the shelf well stacked and most importantly offers real value for money, with fantastic offers and deals and in the current climate we all need that.
White Linen, by Estee Lauder always one of my Mum's favourite and is one of those timeless classics with a modern twist, and it will surely wear the test of time well. This perfume captures the very essence of a perfect day, and will have you drifting off with the thoughts of a nice spring day, walking along with a clear blue sky above you and the fragrance of the early blooms as they announce that this season has arrived. We all enjoy the feeling of getting into bed with clean fresh linen sheets on it, and White Linen helps to evoke this. It's ingredients include Bulgarian Rose, Violet and Orris blossoms which lend to sense of purity and lightness. Coming from Estee Lauder you are guaranteed a quality long lasting perfume had a affordable price. It is a fragrance that can be joined by those all ages, and I feel it is now not considered a fragrance of perhaps a more mature lady, they certainly have done alot to turn around the thoughts about the brand. So don't be put off because it has come from this perfume house!!
What I like most about White Linen is that is a light perfume and not one of those ones that will overpower you, we all want to leave our marks but who wants their perfume to arrive before they do and leave a lingering impression for all the wrong reasons!!??
A must in my humble opinion.
Weight Watchers Mini Hoops - what can I say about these crisps??? Well personally I wouldn't waste the money on buying them when they are full price that's for sure!!
They are overpriced, lack flavour and dry.
The oneadvantage is the fact that they have their points value on the front so you won't need to work them out for yourself, but I would save your monies. Go for the cheaper supermarket own brand healthier snacks, they will certainly be kinder on the wallet, the same if not less points and have a better taste and flavour.
Don't be fooled and taken in my the brand, your pennies are paying purely for the name and not for flavour. For those of us trying to loose those extra pounds, doesn't mean we should have to compromise on taste, and believe me thats what you will be doing with these crips a satisfying snack these definately aren't!!
Of the many good products in the Weight Watcher range these crisps are all to be avoided.
Twinnings Peppermint Tea. The quality of the brand goes without saying and one gets what one would expect from this reputable company. A tea that is flavoursome and refreshing.
Peppermint itself is very good for the digestion, and this is a nice way to get a refreshing drink that will not only quench your thirst but will also help ease away indigestion.
I personally prefer to use the bad in a strainer to allow the bag to infuse in the hot water for a few minutes rather than to squeeze the bag, but then perhaps I am one who prefers their teas, no mater what the flavour not to be stewed. I do find the tea if has a little taste of tanin, if over brewed but hey thats just my personal preferance my sister on the other hand adores her tea that way
An healthy alternative from standard tea, it has no caffeine, also zero points for any of those doing the points system, and there is only so much black tea one can drink in a day.
A highly recommended cup of a tea from a brand you can trust
Seven Pounds is a 2008 film, directed by Gabriele Muccino; and stars Will Smith in the role of Tim Thomas, who assumes his brother Ben's identity. Other actors in the film include Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson and Barry Pepper. The film was released by Columbia Pictures.
Ben/Tim Thomas is a man who has suffered an upset in his life and is troubled by it, and through his adversity sets out to change the lives of seven people, as film untwines the viewer understands the significance of the title. I certainly won't give away the plot - just make sure you have your tissues ready.
Seven Pounds is beautifully directed and is poignant and will have the viewer go on a roller coaster journey of emotions, and will have you asking would I?
Will Smith and all the cast play their characters admirably and you will soon find yourself empathizing with them and being drawn in. The film certainly gives Will Smith the opportunity to show off his acting skills and finds him reunited with Muccino who also directed in the Pursuit of Happiness.
This is a delightfully beautiful movie.
Wall-E was released in 2008 and is a computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, and delivers animation of the highest quality and standard as one would expect from Pixar.
The tale follows the story of a robot named Wall-E who is designed to clean up a waste-covered Earth far in the future, until one day another robot named Eve visits the planet on a mission to see if there is any signs of plant life. Wall-E instantly falls in love with Eve, who does not feel the same and Wall-E sets about to woe her and win her over, along the way the two of them embark upon an adventure to ensure humans can return to Earth
Wall-E is a wonderful story wonderfully told, it will entertain and entice viewers of all ages and with so many Pixar films the humour works on several different levels. As always they use everyday objects in unique and ingenious ways and this just adds to the magic of the film.
Wall-E is a definite must see and must have movie to be enjoyed by children of all ages!!
Cosmpolitan to me symbolises the 'little black dress' of the magazine world.
It is one of the few magazines that has stood the test of time and has grown so that is as up to date today as it was 10 years ago. The articles are well written and articulate and are written for the modern woman. Who says that women can't have it all, certainly not this magazine. It has all the regular features that you would expect from any magazine with some added extra. One feature can stimulate all the senses, just as literature should.
Cosmopolitan treats their readers with respect and intellegence, the magazine has grown up as have many of the readers that started reading years ago, who says you are too old to read this magazine when you're in your 40s? Certainly not the Editors and the feature writers on this magazine! And yet the clever trick is that the features in the magazine will be enjoyed by women of all ages, it certainly is that timeless classic
Mamma Mia! The movie is a stage-to-film adaptation of the 1999 West End musical of the same name, based on the songs of successful group ABBA. It became the highest-grossing film musical of all time. The title originates from ABBA's 1975 chart-topper "Mamma Mia".
Meryl Streep heads the cast, playing the role of single mother Donna Sheridan. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård play the Donna's former beaus, and any of the three could be the father to Donna's daughter, Sophie played by Amanda Seyfried.
Mama Mia the Move is set on the Greek island of Kaligari, 20-year-old bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan wants her father to walk her down the aisle and so nervously posts three wedding invitations to three different men, in the vain hope that her father will turn up to the wedding and make her wish come true.
A real feel good film, that will have your toes taping and you singing along to all the songs. The singing maybe not top notch but that all adds to the enjoyment. You'll be surprised how many ABBA songs you'll remember
Transporter 3 delivers exactly what you would expect from this trilogy of films. If you are looking for an epic then Transporter 3 isn't the film for you, if however you are looking for action, car chases and great car stunts then Transporter 3 is the one for you!!
Jason Stratham reprises his role as Frank Martin, and when he strips to his waist as he does on many an occasions certainly is very pleasant on the eyes. The fights are delivered with their usual tongue in cheek panache, but hey isn't what movies are supposed to do??
The scenes between Jason Stratham and François Berleand are charming and help give the movie character, and as with most movies there is the beautiful woman who needs to be rescued. Stratham plays the romantic lead with his own usual unique style. Added to this is a cast and Transporter 3 does just as you would expect.
Certainly a good watchable movie
Top of the Pops '99 Volume 2 - is exactly what you would expect.
Same vibe as the programme, and filled with oh do you remember??? So it will make you think am I really that old? This isn't a compilation CD that is going to change the world, but will bring you back plenty of good happy memories, and that's a good start for any CD.
What I like most about the Top of the Pops '99 Volume 2 CD is that is filled with songs that you will recognise and it doesn't have the feel of a compilation CD that just had songs pulled out of the hat to make the numbers and the play list. It includes some of the top artists of the time is certainly a good one to have in the car as you embark on a journey.
For those of us to old enough to remember the 90s and enjoyed them, it will make you tap your toes, and bring a wry smile. All and all it's a good collection of hits which reflect the era, and certainly one to add to any collection.
A good all rounder CD.
Celestial Peppermint Tea - peppermint is reknown for its properties to help ease digestion and help ease bloating. So here's a very low calorie option to get the relief you need without those added calories!!!
What I like most of all about Celestial Peppermint Tea is that you can smell the peppermint as soon as the hot water starts to infuse with the bag. It is refreshing and best of all it doesn't leave you with that artifical unsavory taste that some teas can. Celestial Pepperment tea is full of flavour, and it is like infusing fresh peppermint in with tea.
Celestial Peppermint Tea is just as refreshing served chilled as well as warm. I like to make a pot of tea, put in a glass jar and leave it in the fridge for a nice thirst quenching drink at any time of day. And best of all its natural so none of those added calories.
Remember it is caffeine free, so none of those nasty affects from caffeine, which incidentally there is more in in tea than there is coffee. So if you want a refreshing wholesome flavoursome drink then Celestial Seasons Peppermint Tea is the one for you
