I walk the Linksys media Center extender for use with my Xbox 360 and of course with all other Linksys products I've bought before it fails to deliver. They make their products out of cheap plastic it seems and maybe that's why they don't work so well. It's really not that much of a extender. I figured that since it had a straight line to my Xbox there'll be no connectivity problems but I was wrong. The cut the connectivity is spotty at best and so inconsistent it's no point in me having this thing.
I'm not even going to get on the poor customer service and lack of knowledge by their agents. The lady I talked to actually just told me to go on the site and do troubleshooting and offer no helpful tips or insider knowledge. I took mine back within a day of trying to mess with it and that will most certainly be my last Linksys product. STAY AWAY!!!
Products like these are a prime example of why something you know you will use in the years to come it's better to just invest in it and buy a quality version of that product. I have nothing at all bad to say about the Dyson DC33, to say is worth the money is an understatement because I love this thing!! it may not be for a very petite person being that it has some weight to it but no back you might ever had cleaned the carpet like this machine.
While it is to bulky to get under furniture which would probably upset some buyers my bias would just be to move the furniture and stop being lazy. the attachments are somewhat cumbersome but once you get the hang of it there are no problems at all. you know how how hard it is to pick a pair but this vacuum sucks up everything in one pass and he even has an attachment for getting the corners.
This phone is perfect for teenagers in high school but not for business savvy consumers. For me a smart phone is something I use for business more than pleasure and while this phone has a whole lot of apps it doesn't deliver the things I need for my business.
When I first got it I was excited because the screen was so bright which made it much more visually appealing than my previous phone. But that's about where the excitement stopped. I'm sorry this phone just doesn't compete with the big boys in the mobile world. The camera on it is just flat out terribleand I can't believe a present-day device can even have such a lackluster camera on it. The coloring is all wrong unless you're in a really bright area. But in really bright areas you can't see the display so was pointless.
It may be too touch sensitive also because when walking with it in your pocket all kinds of buttons are being pressed without you trying.
maybe I have big hands but this laptop feels too little. One thing I can definitely say that the battery life is much improved over my current laptop. There is something I don't like about the position of the keys, it makes the interface seemed cramped like they set the measurements for the laptop without testing it out.
I can't really say anything bad because other competitors laptops of the same quality and specs are just not as good as the Lenovo. It's fast and maybe since I'm used to having a big-screen the 15.6 inch widescreen this isn't enough for me I need at the minimum 18 inches but I'm not going to squabble about it.
Of course the price is excellent for this type of computer to me is more for basic duties but you can't really do anything extravagant with this laptop. If you're into gaming don't plan on being able to play the new ones on this laptop coming out of the box. Also if would actually like using your laptop in your lap it's okay with this laptop sense it runs fairly cool.
I've never been a big fan of Toshiba's Blu-ray players, to me they're very basic and severely lacks features. The BDX3200 is no exception it is 3-D ready and very cost-efficient but you know what they say you get what you pay for. I bought this unit as my first Blu-ray player after visiting a friend and seeing the benefits of Blu-ray over DVD. I have to admit that I did like how the unit looked, it is very cool looking but looks can be deceiving.
I didn't have any trouble using the player since I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to menus on DVD players and they are very similar. It does have a lot of different adjustments for the picture but that's fairly common with DVD players and Blu-ray players so nothing really stood out to me. On one hand the 2-D and 3-D pitchers were surprisingly vibrant and clear.
One problem I had was that was only one HDMI port and that's just unbelievable nowadays. Like I said earlier the features are like something from back five years ago. If you check any recent Blu-ray player they all have Wi-Fi multiple HDMI ports maybe even DVI and there is no 2-D to 3-D conversion.
Some of the features are spread out all over the menu and can make you ruin the picture quality by mistake so if you adjust it the picture, the sound etc. you will have to reset your defaults to get it back to normal again.
The one thing I can definitely say about the Sandisk Sansa View is that its a very durable product. I have dropped this thing on the hard floor a ridiculous amount of times and everytime it comes right back on. I did have some issues loading songs and video to the device initially but that might have been my computer at the time because every since I got my new computer I have had no issues. The battery life is decent I guess and I like the function that allows you to choose your preferred music genre with the sound.
One more thing about the device is since I bought it I have had many of my earbuds go out on me and of course whenever I call the maker of those particular ear buds or headphones they always ask what mp3 player I have and when I tell them Sansa they always say that that might be the problem. I don't know if I should buy more high end headphones or a more high end mp3 player. Btw, the earbuds they give you when you buy are absolutely worthless.
I suppose this is a good mp3 player if its your first one but if you have the money I think an ipod is much better.
Gears 2 is not as good as Gears 3 but is still a pretty fun game and is the single player story mode is still fairly good. As for the multiplayer, this game has the most lag of any other multiplayer game I've ever played. It totally ruins the experience and the only reason I bought this game again was to prepare for the release of Gears 3 because I was told that if you reach level 100 in the multiplayer you get something for the next game. Now that I played Gears 3 so much Gears 2 is considerably slower and just not as fun. I have to think the first Gears of War was better than this one and that's always bad when they don't improve on a great game. I am not trying to bash this game too much because it is truly a decent game but I did not understand what the big hype surrounding it was. The controls on Gears have always been irritating being that it's a third person game that has no crosshair on the screen and that doesn't make any sense at all. All the Gears games definitely have a learning curve so I guess if you make it through all the inconsistencies on the game the more you play it the more you enjoy Gears of War.
I have had this printer for seven years and never once given me trouble. I'll use it for small tasks only as I have another multipurpose printer but whenever I need is there for me. For what I use it for it's pretty good but I but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it now as the scan function on it has never worked for me which I know is the with primary users nowadays. I've never used the fax option on it but one time and everything went smoothly so I can't really say nothing bad about that. I may not have taken as good of care of this one as I do my multipurpose printer because it is somewhat dirty on the inside but it still works. I can tell when its dirty when I try to print something and the words are all squiggly but I guess its like that with most printers. Since it's an older printer now it is hard to find drivers for it and when you find them sometimes it takes a while for the printer to be connected to your computer.
I bought this camera to take pictures for my eBay auctions because I didn't want to use my phone camera anymore and being that it was on sale and offers 10 megapixels is one of the main reasons I selected this camera. I'm not big on camera features so the limitations on this camera totally fits the job. I don't know if it this is normal but I didn't get one of those little wrist strap things to prevent it from falling if it ever slips out of your hand while filming. Also didn't get a wall plug in charger all I got was the USB cable to charge with my PC.
I really don't like the delay that exists after you push the button to take the picture it causes a lot of pictures to be blurry since I had to hold the button down so I would move slightly. The facial recognition isn't all it's cracked up to be and is sometimes very frustrating since it won't find the face quickly enough and can lose it pretty fast. Sometimes my computer would have trouble reading the camera so I had to unplug and plug back in several times. Also, getting drivers for Windows 7wasn't easy and I had to contact customer support to find them.
Unfortunately mine broke and the lens will not retract back into the camera so I had it for like two weeks before it happened but while it was working it was decent for the price. For my next camera however I will certainly lean towards a more high-end camera for much better results.
this is my all-time favorite multiplayer game. I had played the previous call of duty games before just because I love war games but I knew when I played the beta that this game will be in like no other game ever made before. The ingenuity they put in this game is still unmatched today. The game was a breakthrough revolutionary game and you can tell that by just how many other games have attempted to copy their exact system. This is one of those games that you're glad you paid the 60 bucks to play it and felt you got more than your monies worth.
The graphics are insane the sound is incredible the speed of the game was the immense. And most important to me for great fun game you have to have balance. The kill streaks are like they are today on call of duty there are only three and everyone has the same opportunity to get them. Now is just way too much going on the newer call of duty games and they have become unplayable.
The perk system and the kill streaks make this game stand alone in the genre of shooters and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to play it.
oh my God I love this game so much. what I remember about this game is that I was reading a gaming magazine and most thought that left 4 dead would be the best game coming out during the holidays and I hated that game. I happened to go to Justin.tv and watch somebody streaming fallout 3 which made me give it a try and from the word go I was in love with this game. I usually complain about these types of games not having co-op mode but it was actually nice to play the game by myself. Something about the radio on the game made it feel like you had a companion throughout the entire game.
I love the battle system in the game since I had never played a game or heard of a game that has this similar battle system. Is truly unique and adds a whole a lot to the game. Hands down it has to be my favorite game I played on Xbox and I seriously have no complaints about it. To me games like this usually don't have a gripping storyline but this game is the exception. I love the beginning of the game because it really sets the stage for your purpose in the game. The one thing I do remember most about the game is that one song that I know anybody that has played the game knows by heart now and had it stuck in their heads forever after playing this game.
This is the phone I got when I signed up with Sprint. It was free so I really can't complain about it but is deathly not 4G. there is lag while watching live stream and it's pretty frustrating. This is my first smart phone and I really didn't think it was a big deal to get a smart phone originally but now that I got one I'm so glad I did. There are an excess amount of apps on the device that surely must drain the battery life because it is deplorable. That's the one big negative about this phone. It's an insult for them to give you this battery with this phone because no way you can actually use it throughout the day and I don't see any car adapter with mine so if you have to travel a great distance you better make sure your battery is at full capacity.I still haven't learned how to use all the benefits of the phone book watching sporting events and downloading movies and listening to music with one device is something I never thought possible.
All in all I'm happy I found the other smart phone and I look to purchase another one in the near future. I'll most likely go to a store like Best Buy and try them all out before next purchase.
The Xbox 360 is an amazing machine, it did have its problems at the initial release. The dreaded red rings of death scared me and some other people off initially. Have made enough improvements to the machine that the red rings of death is basically a non-issue now. I believe that its the best console solely because of Xbox live. There are so many features are Xbox live that a lot of people just use it as entertainment system. You can watch movies, TV shows, sporting events to name a few. Also there are the Xbox live party chats and don't forget the WebCam feature.
Now to the games...since a lot of the games come out on all platforms the one thing that separates Xbox 360 from the others is the online multiplayer. The PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii simply can't compare with the Xbox 360. The game library is immense and some of the most popular video game titles only come out on the Xbox 360. Games like Halo and Gears of War.
Xbox live does cost money but the security and features are so vast that is well worth the money and the fee is minuscule anyway but Xbox live can be hacked like the PlayStation network can. Your credit card information is safe and you can also buy points so you never have to install your credit card number in the system. PSN is free for reason, you get what you pay for. I have all three next generation systems and I hardly play the other two. The only thing going for the PlayStation three is that they have built in Blu-ray players.
Xbox 360 also has the Kinect. This is a device that allows you to control your Xbox 360 with your voice and movements. Basically you are the controller! There are a surplus of games also for the Kinect. The Kinect it's pretty much a necessity now because if you worry about your kids not being active the Kinect has plenty of games that make your children get up and move.
I love this system and I look for to the next generation of Xbox.
First of all, gears always been a cool game but I never like the multiplayer. The controls just never seem to be optimized for it and made it frustrating to play. Honestly, when I decided by gears three it was simply because there was nothing else to play at the time and I was starving for a new game. The Gears single player mode has four player co-op which makes the experience that more epic. You can have an insane amount of fun playing through the game with your friends but it's so good you could even even play it by yourself and still share a similar experience. The dialogue is fantastic even though it is definitely for adults. The blood and guts and decapitations are great fun to spectate.
The colors are more vibrant this time around as opposed to the dull colors of the previous two games. It really pops on the screen and adds to the environment. The scale of the game is simply amazing and the storyline is great. For any Gears fan you will be shocked at what takes place toward the end of the game!! The game also features two women so for all the female players you have someone to connect to.
The multiplayer is much much better in this game. Like I said I never was a fan of the Gears multiplayer because of the binding controls and because its a third person game. There's definitely a learning curve to playing Gears online but once you figure it out it is an enjoyable experience. There are two problems about the multiplayer though...they added two weapons that just flat out don't belong on the game. Those two weapons are the sawed-off shotgun and the retro lancer. I have no idea what they were thinking putting those two weapons in the game. They are totally unfair and they should've asked the Gears community before adding something that would alter the game like that. The speed of the game is much improved also, it was too slow previously and the wall bouncing is back.
All in all gears is a great game but some of the stuff in there just doesn't make sense but a lot of games are like that now. It's kind of a blend between realism and total arcade. If you want a game just for fun that you don't take too seriously go-ahead and pick it up.
Skyrim has everything. I can find no faults with the game. Although it would be nice to have a co-op mode but being a free-roaming game that will prove difficult. The graphics are beautiful and if you play it and look up at the night sky it looks totally real. The soundtrack is awesome too!! Its one of the best features about the game. This is one game I'm proud to own unlike so many other games they are releasing now. I feel like I've gotten more than my money's worth. Even players that don't typically play action RPG's love this game, it is just that good!
The multitude of storylines is amazing. This game will keep you busy for hours and hours and they haven't even come out with the DLC yet. I have become apprehensive about buying games without multiplayer modes but I'm so glad I did. The sheer amount of things you can do on the game is captivating. You will never get bored and the only problem is it's addictive to play.
I enjoyed the other Elder Scrolls games but the player was always limited and you had to play through the game multiple times to experience everything. In this game you can do it everything . You can be a Warrior or Mage at the same time and the variety of weapons and magic spells are so numerous I doubt you could ever master them all.
Once in a while a game comes out then makes their competitors have to step their game up and this is without a doubt one of those games. I consider it an honor to have played this game because I had started to worry that all these games were starting to all be the same. Video games had started to become boring like movies have started to become with the focus being on graphics instead of fun factor and gameplay.
