This camera is perfect for a larger gift at either a birthday or Christmas for someone who wants and uses a camera lots and would appreciate its double screen for the cost of it.
The camera is fairly easy to use and has all the features of the majority of other cameras on the market including: night mode, face recognition, timer etc.. These features seem to be the next generation of personal photography and work very well on this camera and makes it easily accessible which is a bonus compared with other harder and complicated models.
The design and look of the camera is sharp and stylish and looks good when taking pictures ;) It is easy to hold and the screens are big enough to look at and use efficiently.
The battery life of the camera again, seems pretty standard with the market of today and is neither amazing long or short, so is not worth mentioning.
The main feature of this camera which is worth mentioning for its use and for the price of the camera is the double screen (the main big one on the back and a smaller one on the front). This is a cool feature as it makes taking pictures of yourself with others or landmarks so much easier as you can see what picture you are taking. This advancement is much like the transition from normal cameras to digital as you could see the picture straight after you took it. In this case you can see pictures of yourself before you take it!!
Overall this is a decent camera and is fairly standard for the market of today. The main feature of the second screen is what the extra money goes towards and if you really want that feature and to have a camera which is a little different from the rest and does help with self-pictures then it is worth the money. However, if you do not think you will use this feature all to much or you think it isn't that amazing then I suggest another camera on the market with a lower price tag but otherwise the same camera.
The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is the best thing about the BlackBerry and is one of the only reasons needed to know in order to go out and buy one! BBM is usually now already installed within the new phones and is simply another feature to the phone like the camera or music player. It works much like text messages but more of a msn/ yahoo messenger/ fb chat kind of way. It allows you to see which of your created contacts have their phones on/ by them so that you can chat to them consistently with a nice flow instead of seperate messages likes texts.
BBM works only on BlackBerry's with internet access and creating contacts is easy. All you need to do find out your BB's unique pin number and distribute it amongst your friends with other BB's or take their pin number and enter it in like you would a normal phone number. Once you have created your contacts you can simply chat away with them like msn for as long as you want without any memory drawbacks or limitations. When someone starts a conversation with you the phone makes a noise/vibrates and flashes lights much like when recieving a text, however the replies are much quicker than that of texts.
Quick, Free and easy chatting with your friends. Plus the only way people can chat with you is if you have them as a contact, so no randoms can start chatting with you, and if you fall out with someone you can simply block that person from your conversations/ contact list.
Need internet access to chat with and the speed of chat can vary on network coverage. Another downside to the BBM, is the obvious one, is you can only chat on BBM with people who have BlackBerrys!!
However, this is still no where near enough of a reason not to get a BlackBerry and to use this feature which is obviously the best feature on these types of phones!!
I have this amazing TV for almost a year now and think its the best TV I've ever had! I had a little trouble when choosing which TV I should get between all the different choices on the market at that time but im so glad I got this one. The price was reasonable between all the different makes and its sharp and stylish front was one of the features that won me over. As it is made entirley of the same material and design it is easy to make it fit in with the room you are putting it in and looks good almost anywhere!
The remote is incredibly easy to use although it may seem a little daunting with all the different buttons but one read of the instructions should set everything up for you and your TV. As with the TV the remote is also sharp and stylish which fits in with the whole package.
As I play on my Xbox quite a lot on my TV's I was glad that it came with 3 easy to reach HDMI port's which means I do not have to take out the cable in order to fit in my Sky or DVD player etc. As it has all these HDMI port's it means that whatever you are watching/playing it can be in a crisp picture and look the best it can possibly be!
Since buying the TV almost a year ago I have had no trouble with and faults or technical problems so I can safely safe this is a reliable TV!
In conclusion, I am thoroughly pleased with every aspect of this TV and would recommend it to anyone searching for a new one. I also cannot think of any faults or downsides to this TV!!
Our family got the Bosch SGV53E33GB after our old dishwasher broke down on us and more logical to buy a brand new appliance rather than repairing the old one. Although our old dishwasher washed all of our dishes and pans etc. it occupationally left them with blurred stains which couldn't be returned to their original shine we did however, live with this as were all too lazy to hand wash and dry.
One thing we first noticed with the Bosch SGV53E33GB is that it did not stain the glasses with blurriness and always returned them to their full shine! This meant that we could remain lazy and use the dishwasher and still have perfectly shiny glasses!
The Bosch's settings are great to use for all different washes from quick rinses for glasses to more intense washes for more dirtier pans and plates. This we found useful as it meant we could control the amount of water we were using or wasting which meant it could in turn save us money!
The price of this dishwasher was reasonable of its type and definitely worth the money because of its efficiency and reliability as well as its settings.
We ended up having to buy a new microwave when our ancient one finally died on us. As we did not have a lot of money to get a fancy microwave with lots of gadgets and gizmo's we were fairly limited on the choice. We picked the Matsui SMW17G out of that limited choice and think its perfect for what we wanted it for.
We wanted a microwave that has an easy timer to use, easy basic gadgets like defrost etc., reliable and cheap which this microwave has all. If we wanted a high tech microwave with fancier gizmo's and other features we would of spent more money on it but all we really want it for is to heat food for us to eat!
As this microwave can be bought for so cheap you don't mind waiting a little longer for the food to be cooked or to limit the amount of food being cooked at one time, which are the disadvantages of this item.
Overall we are very pleased with this microwave as its serving the purpose we got it for and hardly cost us anything and hasn't give us any trouble so far (months).
The iPhone seems to be the best quality smart phone available on the market right now! My brother has one right now which I tend to borrow as often as I can to play on and explore before my upgrade. :)
I currently have a samsung jet and, as it is an alight phone to have on the market today it is no where near the best. The iPhone on the other hand seems to be the best of the best! It has all the phone features any other phone has as well as better and original features and applications. The 32GB memory means that you can use your phone as its own iPod and store thousands of songs on it without worrying of memory.
The new iPhone 4 means that you can have a decent iPod, phone, camera and a massive amount of space for apps, maps and books like a mac!! The internet browsing is amazing with great facebook, twitter and myspace viewing! From owning another smart phone myself I can relate to the comparisons myself and I can say the extra money is worth any penny as you are comparing to no other phone and always have an edge over any other smart phone available on the market today.
I would personally pay out the extra fee for the newest iPhone as I have gone through another smart phone and have found that this phone is far superior to that one because of its memory and capability.
I have only just got back into football and football games since I was a lot younger (Fifa 98 & 99) So I have only these games and Fifa 10 to go off. I have never really got into pro evo as I've never liked its movement and gameplay along with its graphics as I have always preferred Fifa. I bought Fifa 11 last Autumn around the time it came out for full price as both me and my Brother really got into Fifa 10. The game is now obviously a lot cheaper than when it came out depending on where you get it from.
I have always found from both recent games and earlier games that Fifa's version of the football game is more realistic that that of any other. Although it has a faster gameplay than realtime football it has much more of a fluid motion than any other football game than I have played which can either be too rigid or too over exaggerated. Fifa also makes you want to play the game even more whether it be online, against a friend or against the AI as once you have played the game for some time you can still win, loose or draw. This is a good thing as you don't find yourself winning all the time and becoming bored of it. One way Fifa have made the game more realistic is the way it controls the game like a real football game as it puts emphasis on passing as opposed to running the ball up the pitch with one player to then score. This gives the game more tactics as you need to know which players to play in order to achieve a win. Skills can be pulled off with great skill which help with dribbling with a player and achieving runs, however these are hard to master and are often done more by the AI than yourself.
The graphics again have improved from Fifa 10 in the way Fifa portray their realistic players, kits and teams. This makes the game feel more real than that of its opposition including Pro Evo.
I personally enjoy playing the career mode in which you can control a specific team through its season buy playing their matches (either as a team or as a player), choosing their team, buying and selling players and ultimately achieving goals for the team and being rewarded with more money to spend in a more integrated transfer window. This means that you can play a couple of games whenever you choose to go on Fifa and I have not yet got bored with this mode and the choices which can be made.
The new mode of playing as the goalkeeper seemed a great idea but once I played it seemed a little boring as most of the game is played away from the keeper and when it is it becomes a lot of stress and button smashing. I have only played this mode once but have found other modes more interesting to play.
In conclusion this is the best football game out at the moment and you can have many hours of fun on it, if you are a general football lover. If you are not a football lover then it may not be the right choice of game for you.
I got this phone for free on contract at the start of last year and can get an upgrade later on this year which, at the moment im looking forward to, but I can wait at the same time. The phone itself is sharp and looks very nice and its touch screen features are very good. As I got this phone for free on contract and I've heard its a lot cheaper as well its an advantage over the iPhone or Blackberry. However some of the features or lack of features means it is a little outdated now and the thought of having an iPhone or Blackberry is very tempting. The phone does have good features for the internet and sites such as myspace, facebook and twitter which are good to use but aren't as good as the higher spec phones on the market. The phone is easy to easy and get hold of this is helpful and its battery life is quite reasonable to be fair. I have had problems with the touch screen in the past and it has taken me several restarts to re-sync the phone in order to use it again which can be quite annoying.
In conclusion, I do like the phone and like it even more because of the look of it and the fact that it is different than an iPhone or Blackberry which makes it more unique. However it can be a little temperamental on the touch screen and some of its features are getting outdated by other phones.
I received this iPod for a present around the time it came out and was thrilled with it as it was my first iPod and, at the time, was very up to date. Before having this iPod I had always used cheaper mp3 music devices to portably listen to music as I had never had the money myself to buy an iPod. This is one of the reasons why I was so thrilled and I still use this iPod today as it is still smart, stylish, fairly easy to use and still kinda up to date.
The design of this iPod I personally really like as it has a sharp look to it whilst keeping its small size but relatively big screen to view videos and photos. The new nanos are longer in length and although they have a larger screen they seem more uncomfortable to hold whilst selecting music etc. I personally have the white version of this iPod nano and think that is the best colour as it fits in nicely with the apple theme.
As of having an iPod iTunes is needed in order to add and remove music, photos, videos and games. This can be a bit of a pain as you need to register with itunes and learn how to work everything out, but once you have it is fairly easy to alter your music at will. An advantage of itunes is the updates and easy downloads you can get for your iPod which means its easier to buy music and other extras.
Disadvantages that I can find of this iPod is the lack of memory it now has. At the time when I got the iPod I found the memory great as I didnt have lots of music and with kinda starting fresh with itunes it took me some time to fill the iPod. However once I had filled the iPod I then had to delete songs/photos/videos in order to add new music.
Another advantage to this iPod is its durability as I have now had this iPod for a number of years and it has never broke down on me or needed replacing.
I would personally recommend this iPod to anyone who enjoys listening to music on the move and doesn't want to replace their music device for a number of years. This person must only have a number of selected music to listen to because of the amount of memory this iPod has which is a deciding factor. If anyone has or wants more music on their iPod (I can hold about 1500 songs) then I recommend a larger memory based iPod for them in conclusion.
I received this camera as a Christmas present so that I can record some great moments on nights out so I never forget them.
The quality of the pictures from this camera are fantastic considering how easy it is to use. This camera is perfect for people to use at special occasions from family get togethers and friends nights out. It is then perfect for the average person to process and show off with its easy to use features and good sized screen.
The price of the camera I only found out when looking on websites after Christmas which seems to be very reasonable for a camera of its greatness. Compared with some of my friends cameras which are either not as good on the quality of pictures or too complex to use.
The camera itself has a good amount of battery and is easily charged with either the computer or the mains. The camera can last on long days and nights and still have enough battery to view the pictures the next day or week. The camera is an average size for its league meaning that it can fit in good sized bags and easy to hold within the hand when travelling.
The features which I use on the camera would be the flash, timer and colour effects which are all easy to use and of good standards. Otherwise I have not looked into the other features to explain in detail.
I cannot think of any negatives of this camera and would encourage anyone I know to go out and buy this camera if they are looking for one for everyday use.
