I live in Portsmouth on the south coast of England and have done for the last 25 or so years, though I am originally from Leeds in West Yorkshire.

I joined the Royal Navy at 19 after going pressively downhill in my jobs (falling out with my longstanding girlfiend didn't help either). 22 years later I emerged as a grown up with lots of experience in most things and a little in others. During those years i visited 76 cities in 54 countries, and for that I consider myself extremely lucky and fortunate.

When i left the service i wanted to stay in Management and went to work with B&Q the large DIY chain. On the outside they are great, on the inside they are too big, they THINK they are delivering a service but wasting millions of pounds a year. anyway, enough of that. I moved on to a large cold storage company as Deputy Manager of the site and then at someones bright request ventured into insurance. If anyone is thinking of doing that, please get in touch, i will give you some very free advice.

Then i arrived at Shopping Centre Management. Fantastic job and thats where you find me today. I love meeting people and being among them.
