Jondot Wacom Bamboo
... absolutely fantastic. I paid something like £50 for this in PCWorld not that long ago, and it was certainly a sound investment. Personally, I think the Bamboo looks brilliant. Really sleek and sophisticated in that matt black colouring. Once plugged in via USB, the 4 buttons along the top of the tablet glow a lovely blue, which looks superb. These 4 buttons can be programmed via Wacom s software. Personally I ve got them set for undo , redo , new layer and ok for Photoshop, all of which were programmed in as key strokes, so essentially the sky s the limit in terms of what you want them to do. The pen is very nice too - it s made from a sort of soft-tou...

Tetura Wacom Graphire4 Classic XL
... purchased this tablet when it was first out and one of the best tablets available for home PC s. And to this date i am still using it. It wasn t cheap, around £140 but worth every penny. The accuracy of the pen is spot on and has variable settings including pen mode and mouse mode which mean switching between placing the pen on the the board in the position where you want you curser to be on the creen (pen mode) or placing the pen anywhere on the board wont move the cursor on the creen until you physically move the curser yourself (mouse mode). Being someone who used to do a lot of digital art i found the pressure sensitivity perfect - as long as you use an art program...

... This is really the thing for anyone who wants to digitally paint, the only thing better is the Cintiq, which costs thousands of pounds! This also has the added advantage over the Cintiq that your hand doesn t cover any of the painting area as you work! This has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, twice that of the Graphire, which means this would act much more like an actual pen. The Wacom pens don t need batteries, unlike other brands of tablet, they are also really reliable! I found the customer support very good for my Graphire, and even based in Germany, a step over Indian call centres lol. I would recommend "Corel Painter" with this, which is ...
