So, what is it and what’s so special about it? In simple terms, it’s a mouse. What’s special? There’s no wire. Oh, and it’s got a pen. Well, to be fair, its rather more than that, so please read on. The company. Aiptek are not surprisingly, a Taiwanese company, with a base in the USA and a European base in Germany. Their specialist area is in graphics tablets and budget digital camera’s that double up as web cams. How does it look? The complete unit is in a sexy, translucent blue, enabling you to see all the wires and chips attached to the circuit board of the tablet. The mouse ... Read the complete review

Firstly, before i write this review, i would like to state that i own the 5000u not the 6000u. this is because it is essentially the same, just a little smaller. the tech specs - 4inch by 5 inch active area, with 512 levels of pressure (loads!), 3048Ipi resolution. The hyperpen 6000 is a fairly uncommon input device for the pc/laptop.It is un-common because most manufacturers put a mouse in the package so the consumer doesn't buy their own pointing device.Manufacturers dont include them because peole only need to click on things but dont have to draw, and if they do then they use their mouse which is more acurate than freehand. Most people use their keyboard to write because it is a lot neater and can be done at a much heigher speed by a professional user. But if you need to write letters that have to look personal and it is required that you use your hand writing then this product is for you. This product is ... Read the complete review

I purchased one of these and eventually having been driven mad by it threw it away. The biggest load of rubbish that I have ever had the misfortune to purchase. It was totally uncontrollable. You never knew where on the screen the writing would appear, it had no bearing at all on where you started writing on the pad. Also you never knew just in what size the writing would appear. Even when signing your signature very slowly and carefully the writing on screen would frequently leap about in all directions with no relationship to where your hand was on the pad. I would not recommend one of these even to my worst ... Read the complete review
