When I bought my new computer it came with a very stylish cordless, optical mouse that looked very nice and worked very except for one thing : It ate batteries like they were going out of fashion. After putting up with it for a couple of weeks I decided that I just had to get a new mouse, and that mouse had to be both optical and have a cord, no more changing batteries for me. So I sent the ever faithful husband out to get our new pet and he discovered the Typhoon Stream 3B Optical Mouse for a very reasonable £6.49 in WHSmith.
