To make a long story short I write for a review site in the United Kingdom called DooYoo.co.uk. It's a pay per review site and they send redemption vouchers to Amazon.co.uk for which its parent company is Amazon.com here but they are separate entities when it comes to ... placing orders or writing reviews. I have to put everything at what it would cost at the British Pound versus dollar here. Gets quite confusing sometimes because the same manufacturer uses different serial numbers over seas, and if your review doesn't have both of those items, they down play you fast there. But anyway back to my new mouse. I ordered two of these mice from Amazon UK at $4.49 pounds each. Now get this, because it makes no sense to me. They were both mailed in the same big envelope by the Royal mail of the U.K. for $6.00 pounds. I received them today and I sent one to Steffie in West Virginia lest than 5 hours away regular class mail, box and postage was $11.00 dollars. It would of been $3.00 pounds from the U.K and going through customs and all that.
The Belkin Glow in the Dark Mouse fits great in your hand. It's four inches long and almost three inches wide at the widest part where your palm fits nicely. It narrows up at the front to 2.25 inches and in the center of your clickers is a scroll up and down wheel. The USB went right into my computer and my Windows XP recognized it right away and then it happened, it lit up in a Aqua shade of Blue. Getting the 6 foot long cord situated around my monitor then to the right side of my keyboard took a couple seconds, but here I am raring to go.
The color changes, from around the trim of the mouse it basically goes from a medium dark blue to a lighter Aqua shade. The scroll wheel is where the different colors action happens. It goes from medium blue to aqua, and then it goes to green, lavender and finally purple. There is no ball underneath, instead there is a red tracking beam that makes your pointer go anywhere you want it to go. I was truly getting tired of taking the ball out of my Dell mouse and cleaning the dirt that was picked up from my desk on the little directional wheels inside the mouse. But after 6 years of using the same mouse, like my title say it's a pleasant change and surprise. You know it can be the littlest thing that happens that makes you appreciate writing reviews even if it's across the pond in the U.K. .
What comes in the box? Well first it is very secured by taped and you need to cut the tape and pull out the sleeve that the mouse is enclosed in the center. They give you a technical support card with numbers for across the globe. Next is a small brochure about other Belkin products. The last folded paper is a registration/survey that you can fill in or go online to register this mouse and take the survey. I will go online and register it only because there is a lifetime warranty on it.
Overall I'm very happy with this out of country online order. It works great and feels good in my hand. The scroll works better than my old Dell scroller, so this internet reviewer is very content to keep my head down and keep pushing my reviews out to you. This mouse is compatible for the older model computers that have Windows 98, SE, 2000, ME, and XP. But the final kicker is that it also works on Vista and Windows 7 because I went to Pete's house and used it on his brand new computers carrying both (Vista, Windows 7). It even works on my HP computer running Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal version, which is better than regular Windows 7. Anyway, it was a fun procedure from ordering it to now using it..

Belkin Optical Glow Mouse

My dad bought this mouse with my first ever computer. it's out-lasted TWO laptops. Because it was a gift I'm not sure how much he paid for it, but I've seen them online for around £20. Excellent value for money.
The first thing that struck me about this mouse was the amazing colour glow. colour changing LED inside the mouse ... change through a spectrum of colour. The glow is bright enough to look great, but not too bright as to be distracting. The colours change slowly and are actually really relaxing to watch if work gets a little stressful! The colours have stayed bright and strong the whole time I've had this mouse; I've not noticed any bulbs fading.
This mouse is really super accurate and fast, I always notice how rubbish mice in internet cafes or at friend's houses are. The wheel for scrolling turns really smoothly and easily, and doesn't feel sticky, like many other mice I've used.
The mouse is a symmetrical and really ergonomic, meaning it's comfortable for both left and right hand use.
The USB cable plugs into every computer I've ever come across, and is attached to along flex. After about 7 years i've started noticing little kinks in the flex, but it's still totally safe and in excellent condition.
The only deterioration on the mouse that I have noticed is in the paint and finish starting to rub off. After 7 years of use every day, I'm not too upset about this. It's still in really good working order and the glowing colours mean it still looks great.

Nowadays, mice for your comer come in loads of sizes, and some are really odd and horrible for your hand. Some are cheap and badly made, but personally I prefer one that fits my hand and is easy to use, and it has to be a laser one. So when I saw this in a sale for £10, I had to get it, just as a spare to start off with. And it replaced ... my old mouse in a instant.
The mouse nicely fits in my hand, and if I try it in my left hand, it also fits nicely. Whilst some companys can boast about this, this mouse honestly does fit nicely in your hand, and is easy to move about. The mouse's left and right buttons work very well, not making a very load noise when clicked, and in the 1 and a half years I have had it, I have never had a problem with them, unlike some mice where after clicking it can get stuck, meaning you have to find a way to fix it, or get a new mouse. The mouse also has a very useful back and forward button on it, meaning you can make your browser go back or forwards a page much quicker and easyer than doing it the normal way. Granted, it does take a bit of time to get us to using them, but when you do get use to them, they are very very useful, and not just a worthless gimick. The mice scroll button also works well, with it moving very smoothly, and not getting stuck. Also, the mouse does have a very nice LED glow, and it does look quite nice in the dark. The laser on the mouse also is very accurate, and is one of the best I have seen on a mouse.
The thing is, some mice nowadays offer loads of buttons to record things with, but to be honest, I have had a mouse that has had 2 of them, and I had no use for them, and not many people do, but mabey a WoW player would disagree. and other ones do really work amazingly. One of my friends who is a very keen gamer has the Logitech G9, and to be honest, that is a mindblowing mouse, slightly better than this. But normally that is about £70, 7 times more than this mouse, and to be honest this mouse is the best one I have ever had, it has really lasted well, it has not broken, and I have dropped it on the floor loads of times. Sure, it has scratched loads, but this is one of the best low budget mice out there, even rivalling some of the better mice out there at the moment. So unless you want to blow £35+ on a mouse, get this one. It will fit all your everyday needs, and as a keen UT player, I have found it is very good for gaming.
