Having a ball mouse soon gets annoying as you find yourself taking the ball out and clean out the reels inside. As the movement of your cursor becomes staggered and inconsistent. Which is why i decided to invest in this Bush 5 button mouse.
As this is a lazer optical mouse you have far greater precision with it over a normal ball mouse which is good for playing FPS games as you will be able to react and move quicker. The way that the mouse has been created makes it comfortable to use for your right hand with grooves either side to slot your thumb and ring finger.
As well as having your standard right and left click buttons their is also a scroll wheel in the centre allowing you to scroll down the page with ease. But the best feature about this mouse are the two small buttons near the thumb slot. These buttons allow to go "back" and "forward" between webpages which is not only a clever feature but in the long run a time saver. And for games these buttons can be programmed allowing you to change weapons quicker or allow to have the jump button on your mouse and not the keyboard
To sum up this a versatile and affordable lazer mouse which I encourage you purchase if you are getting sick of the traditional ball mouse
I bought this "Bush 5 button mouse" as it was on offer at Argos at the time, and I was getting through mice like nobody's business. I use a laptop but can't get on with the touch pad so I have to use a mouse.
--The Bush 5 Button Mouse--
The mouse was packed in a bubble wrap bag inside a little box showing a picture of the product all around it.
It is sculptured so your hand sits on it quite comfortably (but only if your right handed).
Being black and grey in colour with two silver buttons on the left hand side.
It measures 5 by 3 inchs at its widest (which is the back where your hand rests).
The USB cable attatched to the mouse is very long as it measures over 60 inches.
The 5 buttons are scroll: top centre front, left click, right click: both self explanitary, forward and back: these are the two silver buttons situated on the left side of the mouse which enable you to go forward and backward whilst browsing the internet instead of having to use the arrows situated at the top of your browser.
The mouse has four super slick feet this causes less friction, smoother glide and precise tracking.
With powerful sensitivity lens, for woking on 99 percent of surfaces. (it states that the G-Laser mouse utilize the brand new technology - Double Lens technology which is more acurate for working)
Installation requires you to just plug it in to a USB port and it works straight away.
Compatible with windows 98 onwards.
The mouse comes with 1 year guarantee.
Price: Currently £16.99 from Argos.
--My personal experience, with using the mouse--
When I bought this mouse I never expected it to last that long, but that was only down to my personal use of mice in general, not this particular one. I plugged it in and I was away.
The super smooth glide is nice, I use it on the arm of the sofa and it does glide smoothly and very easily. Feeling very comfortable in my hand, it is quite small and therefore I think someone with large hands may struggle to use it. The browser buttons as I call them, are handy and move you from page to page quite quickly, only downside to these buttons for me, is that I have to keep cutting my right thumb nail quite short as I accidently press the buttons from time to time and this can be very annoying, especially when I'm playing a game on line, I catch the button and it refreshers my page and my score ends up as zero, very frustrating when that happens.
This mouse could really only be used by a right handed person because of the way it is sculptured, I have been able to get on with this mouse a lot better than previous ones I've had, I've been using it for around 6 months or so now and it still seems to be perfoming as it did when I first got it. I personally think it's of good quality, very reliable and with it's little extra features (forward and back buttons) I think this a good all round little mouse, that is worth what I paid for it.
I give this mouse 4 stars because I have to keep cutting my thumb nail.
