Aiptek Hyperpen 6000:
... hyperpen 6000 is a fairly uncommon input device for the pc/laptop.It is un-common because most manufacturers put a mouse in the package so the consumer doesn't buy their own pointing device.Manufacturers dont include them because peole only need to click on things but dont have to draw, and if they do then they use their mouse which is more acurate than freehand. Most people use their keyboard to write beca... Read the full review: hyperpen 600 review` by |

Wacom Graphire Blueberry ... I have a problem; it is that I am a gadget man. I see these lovely new fangled technological marvels in the shop window calling my name. I swear I hear them, “Adam” they go “Adam, come in and buy me!” and thus I end up with loads of gadgets. The latest electronic gismo I fell under the spell of is the Wacom Graphire (USB version). Boy, what a gadget she is….. This device is a graphics tablet incorporating a cordless / battery-less mouse and pen. Yes that’s right, unlike other makes the Wacom Graphire requires no batteries so you’ll never run out of power at that crucial moment. As far as size is concerned, (remembering the ol... Wacom Graphire Blueberry ... yey!" I thought to myself as I handed over the cash for this.. thing. "Oooooh yey!" I thought to myself as I plugged it into the back of my PC. "Oooooh pants!" I thought to myself as the cable barely reached the table. Its a bad sighn when your are dissapointed with soemthing so soon. Once I got comfortable I started playing with all the settings. It was easy enough to install and the software had plenty of things to play with and was extremelly easy to use. The only problem is that most of the options are abselutelly useless to me. maybe thats because im not a professional graphics person, or amybe its because the settings ... My own budget wouldn't quite run to the professional end of their range, but I thought (and still think) that the Graphire is a good product for general home use that offers good value for money. It's dead simple to use the pen to point and click and use as a mouse replacement for general Windows use, it may take a while to get used to, but once I got the hang of it it became second nature. When you've used one of these in a graphics package you will never imagine attempting to 'draw' with a mouse again. The software package is reasonable - you ...
