Advantages: Price, Central button, Robustness

Disadvantages: No wheel, No 'extra' buttons.

I bought this mouse when building my own computer a couple of years ago. And I'm using it now. That actually says a lot, as I bought it as the cheapest option available, yet it is serving me well. The Genius EasyMouse+ is a sort of starter mouse. With the middle button, you get the simplicity of a two button mouse without the annoyance of having to go to the side of the screen for the scroll bar each time. If you haven't used a scroll button before, you click the button and up pops a small arrowed icon. If the page can be scrolled vertically, up and down arrows appear, and if horizontally as well, horizontal arrows appear too. moving the mouse away from the icon speeds up the movement in that direction, so clicking in the centre of the screen then moving down to the bottom will zip you down to the bottom of the document. This may not sound so interesting, but believe me, after a two button mouse, scrolling if far more pleasurable. This mouse is not the bells and whistles of the rodent world, but as a first scrolling mouse it is ideal. On a newer mouse I bought (from Trust) the scroll wheels have become stiff and the buttons are losing their click. On the Genius, however (even on a computer used by 5 people) the buttons click as ever they did. A good test is to see if the left and right buttons sound the same when you click them as the right gets much less use, and on the EasyMouse they are almost the same after all this time. If you are looking for a functional mouse, but don't think you need a scroll wheel, this is fairly ideal. If you might want a scroll wheel, I would personally suggest you get one instead but beware the wheel(s) may become squeaky or stiff after 8 months or so. So for a rock solid basic mouse, buy the Genius EasyMouse. I would suggest buying it if looking for a two button mouse, as it provides immense benefits, but this is not for the scroll wheel market. Happy hunting.

Welcome to Dooyoo. This was a good first opinion although i suggest you could split the text into paragraphs to make it easier to read. I hope you enjoy Dooyoo and I look foward to reading more of your ops in the future - Anna:)
