Advantages: High DPI, incredibly good value, and does the job well

Disadvantages: none

Here, Genius has created a high-end laser mouse which is easy to use and of good value. This 8-button 2000DPI mouse does wonders no matter what the job. Whether it is graphic design or hardcore gaming, this product handles well with great precision. I mainly use it for Counter Strike and Photoshop CS4 and it handles great for both of these applications. It also works reliably well even on glossy uneven surfaces, and polished wood. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted with the click of a button to 2000, 1600, 800and 400 dpi resolution.

It had an ergonomic design and bends into a shape that fits nicely into your hand feeling comfortable to your grasp. However, this means that it's only for right-handed users, so lefties are unlucky here. The buttons are all well positioned and accessible., and they can be assigned with ease. The mouse is nice and smooth, light to the touch, and the USB cable is long so I can move it as far I want without yanking it from the computer.. Gaming wise this mouse is absolutely brilliant. Even after a good few hours of frantic gaming, the mouse remained comfortable in my hand. It has a polling rate of 500Mhz which I consider handy for FPS games. It makes a major difference to my accuracy. Also, coming with a nice big Steel Pad QcK, it glides around smoothly with little friction. I really love this mouse and I've been using it for nearly two years. It still just as reliable from the day I bought it and it can take a good bashing for the odd handful of people who 'rage' a lot :)

The biggest winning factor is the price. I haven't seen another 2000DPI mouse going for less than £45.00 at a leading British retailer, so this mouse is a real bargain.

Regardless of what you want to do with it, gaming, graphic design, or just general desktop or office use, this precise mouse is highly recommended. If you are looking for a new mouse for a low cost, I strongly suggest you put this bad boy high on your list of preferences.

I hope this review was helpful to you lot out there seeking decent input devices :P

Summary: A very decent mouse for a price which doesnt burn a hole in your wallet

"so this mouse is a real bargain."

You don't actually say how much it costs. I presume it's less than £45, but how much less?
