      Very helpful

Cheap plastic mouse for a very high end price

The Genius wireless mini navigator USB mouse. It is smaller than your average mouse, very lightweight but feels very cheap and plastic. You don't feel the "click" when you press the buttons, and the centre wheel is very stiff, and noisy when you use it. Because it is so light, it tends to shoot across the desk at high speed causing you to click on the wrong things then having to backtrack. It uses 2 AAA batteries. Best to use good quality ones as the cheaper batteries only last a few days.

On the plus side, it does have an on and off switch which helps conserve battery life if you remember to switch it off, and some people, especially those with smaller hands like children, may prefer the compact design of this mouse compared with the usual style. The main downfall of this product though is the price. It costs £19.99 in Maplins. On a price/quality comparison, I would say it is the worst value mouse on the market. There are plenty good wireless mice out there for much less than half this price.
