I work in an office and so as I do a lot of computer work I need a mouse that works well. The mouse I have been using for the last twelve months is this Logitech B110 Mouse. This mouse is currently available from Amazon for a price of £7.10 which I think is good value for money.
The mouse is black in colour and consists of two buttons and one 'scroller' in the middle. I like the scroller part as it makes 'moving the mouse' around so much easier as you don't actually have to move the mouse around, but use use the scroller instead. The 'left' and 'right' bottoms are nice and soft to use, and only nice a light touch to work - they don't stick either which is good.
The mouse is very easy to use; simply plug it in to the back of your computer (it has a USB connection) and away you go with your mouse. I find that the computer responds quickly to anything that I ask it to do and the connection is very fast (there is nothing worse than a mouse which is slow connecting).
I find that the mouse is a good size; I have fairly small chunky hands and I find that the mouse fits in my hand perfectly. The mouse is easy to grip and I find it very comfortable to hold. It doesn't my hand feel uncomfortable or strained which is good.
One thing I like about this mouse is the fact that it is an infrared mouse with a red light and so doesn't have that annoying ball that old mice used to have, and used to get stuck. So that's good. Also, this mouse has no distracting lights flashing on and off either which can be distracting as I have found with the mouse I use at home.
All in all, I would recommend this good little mouse!
Thanks for reading!

After leaving the house where I was staying on holiday I realised that I left my mouse on the shelf in the lounge. Although my laptop comes with a mouse pad built in, I prefer using a separate mouse so I decided to look in the Argos book for a new one. They had a large range of different products by different makes, some well known and other not so well known. I wanted a brand I had heard of before and I didn't want anything too cheap or too expensive so I found a perfectly priced Logitech one at £9.99 which I thought was reasonable. I already have Logitech speakers and have been impressed with the quality and performance of the product so I thought purchasing a Logitech mouse would also be a good buy. The mouse comes black and is an optical mouse which means it has a light sensor on the bottom rather than a ball in the mouse. The mouse has the Logitech logo on the main part of the mouse in silver. The mouse has 800dpi sensitivity, which means you can get precision cursor control meaning you can edit documents and navigate the web more efficiently. The mouse has 2 buttons and a scroll wheel in the button which means you can scroll down pages a lot quicker than you would be able to without the scroll wheel. Although the mouse is mainly black it has a dark grey band going around the middle of the mouse which separates the top from the bottom of the mouse. The scroll wheel is also black and has small nodules on it to making scrolling much easier. On the bottom of the mouse are 4 stickers on each corner of the mouse to help it slide across the mouse mat or surface easier. If you look on the underneath side of the mouse you can see the small red light which is how the mouse is controlled. It also tells you some information about the mouse as well, such as technical information.

I purchased this from Argos for £9.99, which I think is good value. You can also purchase this from Amazon and other shops; how-ever prices may vary.
Using the Mouse

The mouse comes in a small box with a small leaflet. I decided not to even read the leaflet and to plug the mouse in straight away ready to use. The mouse has a USB connectivity so was easy to plug into my computer. The mouse has a long black lead which is quite thin so it can easily be tucked away and hidden out the way. As soon as I plugged the mouse into my laptop, it was recognised straight away and I was able to use the mouse there and then straight away. The mouse is made from a smooth plastic which makes it very smooth and comfortable when using. My hand fits over the mouse perfectly, without it feeling too big or too small. The buttons on the mouse are very easy to click, whether it's a single click or a double click. I sometimes used the scroll wheel which is also very easy to use and because of the nodules on the wheel it means that I can scroll down pages slowly, rather than in one go. I have had the mouse for well over 1 year now and it's still working perfectly with no problems. I actually have the same mouse for the laptop at work and again I have experienced no problems with the mouse. Sometimes the mouse can get slightly dusty underneath, but I just wipe this with a dry cloth to clean it. The top of the mouse can be wiped with very, slightly damp cloth to keep it clean and germ free.

As I have had good past experience with Logitech products, this prompted me to purchase this particular brand of mouse. The quality of the mouse is very good and the reliability is also very good as I have had the mouse for well over 1 year with no problems. As this is an optical mouse you do need to take into consideration that these types of mouse won't work very well on a shiny mouse mat, so a fabric one is best for this type of mouse mat. The mouse is shaped perfectly to make it comfortable when using, even for long periods of time. As the scroll wheel has nodules I find that it doesn't scroll down a page too quickly which is good. I can't fault the mouse in any way so I'm going to give it a well deserved 5 stars.

Well my title says it all.
I decided I needed a seperate mouse for my laptop because while at home I found using the touch pad a bit too laborious.
It was actually a replacement for another cheap as hell mouse I bought online - however that broke after a very short time so I was wary of going cheap again.
I paid under a fiver for this Logitech mouse and for that price surely it can't be beaten.
It has a lovely sleek design and is lack in colour. I'm male and I've found it fits my hand perfectly fine although I gather some people with larger hands might find it a little on the small side, though this is still unlikely. It is certainly a 'normal' sized mouse rather than those 'compact/laptop' mouses...mice....whatever.
The layout is classic - left and right buttons which click pleasingly (nicely styled so that they don't look like actual buttons) with a scroller in the middle.
The cursor response is very responsive as is the scroller. I needed a mouse I could use on uneven surfaces (sofa, thigh etc) and again the mouse fulfils my requirements.
As for set-up, well you plug it in the USB socket in your computer, that's it. It gets recognised and you're good to go.
This mouse was bought to replace a cheap Amazon purchased mouse (which I can't actually find so I can't name & shame the company who produced it) which was far too small for my hand and possibly the worst ergonomic design I'd ever encountered.
(Actually once I found the mouse again I was able to ID it from its picture on Amazon as for some reason it didnt have the brand name anywhere on it, so makers of the Lupo USB mouse consider yourselves named and shamed)
This mouse is the polar opposite, its an excellent design and fits my hand perfectly. I can't see this mouse not fitting anyone unless your a very young, small or petite person.
It doesnt give any wrist pain issues and is very reactive and wonderful to use. If you are looking for a new mouse and have a black computer I can't recommend this mouse highly enough. In fact even if your PC isn't black buy it anyway, its just THAT good.
Logitech is a well established name that can be trusted to produce good quality equipment for not much money and thats exactly what you'll get if you buy this mouse.
I've had the mouse for a couple of months now and the only issue I've had is that 2 of the feet stickers came off but its not altered the excellent performance of this mouse. The scroll wheel broke in really quickly (which is normally quite a massive bugbear with most mice) and its easy to wipe clean.
As far as installing goes simply plug it into an USB port and it's instantly detected by your PC and instantly usable too - no drivers needed. Mine cost just under £6 so you can't be unhappy at such a cheap purchase for a decent bit of kit like this.
(please note, some of this taken was from my original review of this mouse on Amazon. This review also appears on Ciao!)
Logitech B110 Optical USB Mouse
Sometimes just the more simple and easy products are simply the best. I work at the office and there we don't have fancy six thousand button wireless mouse which also gets you coffee. Well ok maybe that last part isn't really realistic but anyway I work with the simple but effective Logitech B110 Optical USB Mouse and I'm loving it.
I have been working at the office now for over two years and this is the second mouse I have been using. The first one was also a simple mouse but I do notice that this mouse is much lighter and lays much better in my hand. Moving the mouse feels very easy and light which means you have to put less force in your arms. The Logitech B100 Optical USB mouse comes in the simple colour of black and the design is just a simple mouse like the first mouse ever designed. I quiet like the design and it's very efficient. You can find the buttons on the top front of the mouse one for the right and left clicking. In the front middle you will find the scroll wheel which is dead easy for scrolling through the web pages.
Installing the mouse is very easy since it's a plug and play mouse which means your windows system should recognise the mouse straight away and you should be able to use it in literally like seconds without the need of installing any drivers. It's a corded mouse which means you will have to have a free USB port to put the mouse in.
If you are a gamer and looking for a multifunctional mouse then you are not at the right address with this mouse. This mouse is perfect for the daily office work like internet and working with word so in other words perfect for writing and rating reviews! The mouse is from Logitech which I own several products from and I trust the brand. I see the brand as reliable and trustworthy and since I have no trouble with this mouse for over a year now, I can say this mouse is really reliable.
When you are looking for just a basic mouse for a good price then don't look any further. I saw that the mouse is available for around 5 to 10 pounds which makes this mouse very cheap. It's very efficient and easy to use and to install. When you are a gamer you might better look for a more multifunctional mouse because this one has just two simple buttons at the front and a scroll wheel. For me it's perfect for my daily work and would recommend this one to others.
I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and this is the mouse that I got with my office computer. After using this mouse for over a hundred hours now, I feel qualified to write a review to say how good it is.
It's a very simple design - a plain black mouse with a fairly narrow grey border around the edge. The mouse is quite curvy and seems to be moulded very well for the shape and curve of my hand. Guys might find this mouse a little on the small side, but for me it's comfortable to use without a wrist rest.
I like the style of this mouse because it's simple and yet looks smart - ideal for an office. The mouse has two buttons - left and right click - so it's good for basic mouse use. However, if you're a gamer or designer you'll be wanting more functionality and most likely programmable buttons, so it's best to go up a price bracket as this mouse is very simple. The mouse also has a scroll wheel in between the left and right click buttons. It has small nicks in the plastic to control the scrolling, and it moves easily without much pressure.
The mouse is a Logitech one, a name which is quite highly regarded in the industry for reasonably priced yet well-made mice. The name is written in silver on the back with the Logitech logo, so if you don't like branding this mouse isn't for you.
Turning it over, I can see the bright red light which means it's optical (compared to say, ball-based), and so it requires very little maintenance. It plugs in to either your computer or your laptop via a USB connection. I use this mouse with a mousemat, but it also moves smoothly enough on my desk to eliminate the need for one. I find this mouse to be very responsive and the cursor is set to move nice and fast which makes a nice change from the slooooow Apple mouse I was using previously.
For those that like things to match, you can also pick from a range of Logitech keyboards to accompany your mouse. A black one with the same logo accompanies it perfectly and is a practical choice for any desk. As far as I know, the mouse is only available in black but I think this looks smart (particularly in an office) and means it's easy to keep clean.
The only real negative I can think of for this mouse is that it does feel a tiny bit cheap due to the choice of plastic, but if you get it at a good price then it's worth it and in my experience even the cheapest Logitech mouse will last you several years if you are careful.
This mouse is a good basic mouse and can be bought on the internet for under a fiver from Amazon, though Dell's price is almost £15, so it's definitely worth shopping around. £15 is far too much to pay, but for under a fiver you can't go wrong and it's always worth having a spare mouse around just in case.
