The Logitech G5 was my first proper gaming mouse. For around £35 - £45 this puppy is a great gaming mouse. This revision is incredible. 3 DPI settings, 400, 800 and 2000 allow you to switch between different sensitivity settings. At 400 your cursor will track slowly across your screen and would be great for touching up Photographs in Photoshop. I tend to use the 800 setting, which I believe is fast enough for me @1920x1200 gaming resolution. I tried 2000 but haven't got use to it, at this setting your cursor simply flies! I've had this mouse for a good few months now and I love it! Firstly, let's start with the buttons. In all there are 6 buttons: one scroll wheel which scrolls back-and-forth, as well as side-to-side; 2 sensitivity buttons located just behind the scroll wheel (these are for changing the sensitivity of the mouse "on the fly", great for switching between graphics apps and normal windows operations); two regular left-click, right-click buttons and one more button just by your thumb.
