Advantages: Works on any surface, precise movements

Disadvantages: Wired

I have been using this mouse for two years now and am yet to find a single thing wrong with it. The optical sensor is precise and works on every surface that I've tried (wood, metal, carpet, glass, paper etc). The build quality is perfectly adequate (how tough does a mouse need to be?) and feels substantial to hold and use. The design is suitable for both right and left handed people. The wheel has a very positive feel and a useful sideways scroll feature, although the drivers need to be installed for this to work (the mouse is plug and play). All the buttons are programmable using the supplied software (very easy and intuitive interface) and can be used for zoom or auto scrolling.

It doesn't have the hundreds of programmable buttons that some seem to but I have never felt that I needed them.

The cable is plenty long enough allowing it to be routed whichever way you want across a desk. It is a USB plug so can be used with laptops if required although it is not as small as other laptop specific mice are.

Overall it's a great mouse that works well and, unless you want wireless, is as good as it needs to be.

Summary: If you want a wired mouse this is the one that you want.
