A mouse with too much cheese! (Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse)
Name: Mr-Freeman
Advantages: Works well and is wireless. Disadvantages: The zoom is not good enough for most media applications Whilst the LX7 promises to combine everything needed for the average multimedia man (someone who enjoys viewing films, editing pictures etc), I soon found this device a small disappointment. After hearing that it had an internal zoom feature, I was quick to buy one and try it out for myself. What I didn't know was that, although it does work, it fails to zoom to a large enough capacity in order for me to find it beneficial. If, like me, you want to be kept assured that the product your buying will outlast all others and provide a lifetime of use and committment, then this is not the buy for you. In terms of it's mouse use...well it's your average wireless mouse that works well and allows smooth glide over the screen unless the battery is weakening. Speaking of the battery, it can, an I emphasise CAN last up to several months, but it can be a challenge to switch it off on the seperate button on the side. By doing this, you can save energy and make your average lithium batteries last a long time (around 4 months). Summary: A good buy but not for a media fan.
