I purchased this mouse purely for work. I work as a software developer so my mouse gets alot of use. I would also say that I'm in a position to give an expert review of a mouse!

I was attracted to this mouse due to its ambedextrous design (as i use my left and right hands alternately), the make (Logitech are brilliant!), and its looks.

Since getting the mouse I am 100% happy with it. Its very comfortable, even for prolonged periods of time, and the setpoint software you get with it is very useful and allows you to tweak its fucntionality to suit your needs.

I dont use the extra 4th and 5th buttons, and I find that they maybe just get in the way a bit, so I could probably have done without them, but I'm sure they may be suitable for some people.

It takes 2 AA batterys (provided), and so far 1 month of 9 hours per day use is still showing a good battery level.

Summary: Worth it if your looking for a mouse, and even good for an upgrade
