Advantages: Its cheap, it works and its configurable. Nice long lead.
Disadvantages: It feels cheap, not very comfatable to use with an unpleasant 'click'
This mouse works just as one would expect it to. Thats all fine. There are no surprises and from the moment that you plug it in, life is as it should be. However, that is where it ends.
The mouse does have a long lead, allowing the computer to be on the floor or some distance away. But that is not the issue. Really one wants to be some distance from the mouse. The plastic used in its construction harks back to the mice of a decade ago and that is the trouble. Time has moved on. A mouse that has such a smooth plastic surface that it esaily gets hot and sticky to use in summer, shows up any dirt with ease and basically feels clammy all of the time is really now old hat.
The buttons are regular shaped nasty affairs with a veyr audible 'click' from the microswitch and there is no adjustment to its weight. The shape of the mouse itself is not particularly ergonomic and although there are certainly worse out there, that is not much of a recomendation itself.
Forget this one. Logitech make several far better models let alone any other manufacture and its low price is not enough to make up for its unpleasant use. Remember that a mouse is something you are using a fair chunk of the time and your hand deserves something better.
Summary: Works fine as expected but is old fashioned and nasty to use
