Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, quick to install
Disadvantages: No mod cons
I bought this when my laptop touch pad stopped responding and I couldn't be bothered with the cost and effort to get it fixed. It cost me about six pounds so I wasn't really expecting all that much to come from it, thinking if it lasted a couple of months I'd be happy. Turns out it's quite an effective little thing and despite being bashed about regularly as I drag it around with my laptop, it's still working well 6 months later. Very easy to install - just plug and play.
Since I'm not usually at a desk when I use my laptop, I was worried it might not work, but it seems that it works almost like normal on any solid-ish surface such as the sofa arm or even the side of my leg!
Would definitely recommend it, it doesn't have all the mod cons but for the price it's definitely worth having around if you don't need anything particularly extravagant, or as a spare mouse for if the worst happens as well.
Summary: Great no nonsense mouse or spare to have around the house. Worth the money.
