I bought this mouse to replace an old Logitech 700 that had stopped charging correctly. The most noticeable change is that the RF transmitter and the charger are now completely separate units - meaning that you don't have to worry so much about cabling from power to USB to charger.

Fairly obviously, the mouse is a very unique shape. I would not advise buying this unless you are prepared to spend a few days getting used to it - this applies to most asymmetrical mice though, so no surprises there.

The battery life is exceptional - I have gone a week or more before having to charge it, although I normally dock it in the charger overnight, or when shutting down my PC for more than a few minutes.

Responsiveness in games is fine - a lot of people think wireless mice just aren't good enough for gaming, but that is patently not true.

The thumb jogger can be a bit finicky - it defaults to "Switch Application", and I found it would often stick just off center, and so keep switching until I jiggled it.

Similarly, the charger can get funny over time - the main problem seems to be dirt on the contacts, so check the batter light comes on when you drop the mouse in the charger.
