Advantages: Good control, Long lasting, Comfortable
Disadvantages: You have to pay for it if a friend doesn't have a spare one, Software is awful, Makes you buy matching keyboards
What can you really say about a mouse? It moves and it clicks? Well I guess that's the end of this opnion... Yeah, would it be real easy if all opinions could be written that quickly? Anyway, I have (surprise, surprise) a Logitech Wheel Mouse. It works and has done for almost two and a half years with only the odd cleaning required. I have had probably dozens of mice since my first PC and most have only lasted about a year if I had been lucky. Amazingly, this mouse was not brand new when I got it! I have a very weird friend who, a couple of years ago, appeared to buy a new mouse every time we went to a computer fair. He really worried me when he asked about cages for them (not). He had so many and I had so few (one) and the ones (one) I had was ok (rubbish) so I asked if he'd miss one and I was given a wheel mouse. What does it do? Well, it does exactly what it says on the tin (box). I never liked using mice for gameplaying until this came along with its wonderful wheel button. Quakes, Unreals etc all found new life with this mouse...I even started to complete games! Because of its design it can be used by left or right-handed people and feels ergonomically comfortable. The only issue I have with it is the software...don't use it! It's like Microsoft's in that it messes up your Windows if you're not careful. I liked the mouse so much I bought the company (well, a keyboard by the company). This performs amazing tasks like letters appearing when you press certain keys! Seriously, the mouse is long lasting and the keys on the keyboard have a good response and don't wear away the letters.

- 16/09/01 Good op - though about a week ago I gave in, and bought possibly the best mouse on the planet, the Razor Boomslang, and having used it, I don't want to touch another mouse ever again! |
