It is FAR more precise, gives you better control, takes up less space (although it is bigger, it doesn't move around like normal mice do). When I first purchased this mouse, to replace my original, standard 2-button mouse, I was hoping for a fantastic, revolutionary replacement. I don't think I have been let down. When I first got hold of it, and set it up, useage was slow and difficult to say the least. This mouse definately needs to getting used to! I have been using a normal 2 button mouse for about the last 8 years, then moved to this mouse for about the last 5. As I say, progress was slow, and I was beginning to think I had wasted my money.
