Advantages: Responsive, Cheap, high quality, good for confined spaces.

Disadvantages: Can hurt yuor thumb, no good for First Person Shooter gamers.

This mouse is an excellent addition to someone with a computer, but only limited workspace, such as laptops, or mini computers. it feels nice to hold, and fits ergonomically into the palm of your hand.
The mouse feels responsive, and the trackball has no delay, and neither do the buttons, everything you would expect in a logitech mouse.
Being a Trackball mouse, you don't have to move your whole hand around, and this gives your hand a rest, and means you don't have to have a mouse mat.
The trouble is, this mouse is not good for people who enjoy playing online games, as it means you have to move your thumb very rapidly and quickly, and this pains your thumb, leaving it aching and numb. this can also occur slowly if you use this mouse for a long period without a break.
However, with a few breaks, you will soon get used to it, the mouse is cheap for the functionality you will get out of it, and i wholly recommend buying one if you only have a limited available area, or if you own a laptop, and don't carry a mouse mat around.

Summary: An excellent buy if your in a confined workspace.
