Advantages: easy to use

I love my Logitech Marble Wheel. This is a fantastic device. Sure, as the other reviewers have pointed out it takes a little time to become accustomed to it. However, once you are used to the feel of the mouse in your hand, your life on the computer becomes so much better. No more painful handcramps, no more "running out of room" to move the mouse, and faster scrolling.

With just one flick of your finger you can scroll the mouse to any point on the page versus the standard mouse where you have to move your entire hand and part of your arm. I can't imagine a simpler interface other then voice control.

The left and right buttons work just as one would expect a standard mouse to, but there is also a scroll button which you can click to turn on and off the scroll feature. It is positioned so you just need to move your thumb ever so slightly to click it without actually disrupting your use of the marble.

There are really only two drawbacks to this mouse. The first is that it is expensive. Mine cost me 40£, but you may be able to find it cheaper. The other drawback is that it is not the easiest mouse to clean. The dirt that builds up in the cradle that houses the ball becomes encrusted and difficult to remove if you are not diligent and thorough in your cleaning. However, even if you let the dirt build up it does not seem to affect the scrolling action of the mouse.
