I bought this Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks a week after the purchase of my MacBook laptop. It was a bit expensive, but I needed a mouse quite fast, so I chose this one. I do have to say that I don't regret my fast decision. I think that this mouse is worth the 'high' price.
Advantages:
- Very small receiver (although USB)
- A scroll wheel without any friction (it works very well)
- Buttons for forward and backward browsing on the Internet
- Laser technology (works just as good as the MX1000)
- It lies very well in the hand

Disadvantages:
- Batteries (they are consumed and should be replaced, unless you use rechargeable)
- Does not work on 1 battery. If 1 battery is empty, you cannot work any further with the other battery)
- No Bluetooth (it has an USB receiver, and this is much faster with the laptop. So there is no delay after standby or screensaver)
- No third mouse button
- Cover for batteries compartment and storage for the USB receiver. The sustainability of this must be proven.

All in all, it is a very fine notebook mouse, although it is a bit small. It works very well and I am satisfied with it.
