I thought I would do a quick op on an old favourite, the MS Intellimouse. This mouse has been around for a few years now. We have some in our IT department at work that must be at least 4 years old, so almost an antique by today?s standards! The Intellimouse can be purchased for a very reasonable price these days and you should be able to pick one up for around £19. Specifications The mouse has the well recognised standard features you?ll find on most computer mice these days. There is a left and right button and in the middle of these two sits a scroll wheel. The left mouse button is slightly larger than the right mouse button; no ... Read the complete review

A mouse is a simple but incredibly effective input device. Experienced computer users take it for granted, while newbies struggle with the concept of the hand movement relating to the movement of the cursor on the screen. It all comes with practice however, and soon people are winging that cursor across the screen like a mad thing! However, the mouse has come on very little since it’s earliest incarnations. I mean, what can you add to a mouse?!? Microsoft, despite their critics, come through for us time and time again with new products to thrill and enthrall us (even if it is at a grossly inflated price!). They’ve changed the shape of the mouse with ... Read the complete review

I bought my current PC back in early 1997, and it came with a standard Microsoft ball-driven wheel mouse. That lasted pretty well, in fact, it lasted for over three years. I consider that pretty good longevity for a computer part, especially in this age of throwaway peripherals. However, all good things must come to an end, and eventually my old trusty ball-bearing mouse died, in early June 2000. So, wanting an immediate replacement (yes, I have no patience), I marched down to PC World to buy a replacement. I knew that I wanted to buy a Microsoft mouse to replace the deceased one, to reward them for the reliability of my old one. I was disappointed to find that ... Read the complete review

I've been using the "Standard" Microsoft Intellimouse for almost three years now. I actually got it thanks to a very nice peace of luck. It actually came with my new Time PC that I bought almost 3 years ago for my Computer Science degree at Swansea Univeristy The computer was supposed to come with some 'factory' mouse as standard, but when I opened the box, to my surprise and delight I found this Microsoft device sitting a plastic wrapper. OK I though, i'm not complaining at this. Everybodys thought is that a Microsoft product will be better than anything else. In reality, this could not be further from the truth. However, this may be ... Read the complete review

I like me for a long time you have had to manage with the more ‘traditional’ two finger click mouse then this will really be a step up the market. Especially I like me you use the computer a lot, one thing this intelligent mouse will do is save all that wrist movement which is involved with the mouse shaped mouse. And if you’re mouse goes wrong then it’s even harder trying to get the cursor key in the right place can take some effort. This is where this little beauty of a mouse comes in, very easy to use, no need for all that wrist movements. The surprising thing is that if you have a mouse that doesn’t work properly and ...
