Microsoft Trackball Optical:
... is a really nice bit of kit. The trackball features a scroll wheel, which is very useful and quickly becomes second nature, and back / forward buttons. All of these are logically placed, and overall it is exceptionally comfortable to use, even for long periods. Setup is a doddle, just plug in and go. The only real downside is it has a tendancy to clog up slightly; I find I need to take the ball out and clean ... Read the full review: Quality trackball; who needs Logitech? by rassling |

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer ... like it well enough. nothing terribly fancy. not a million buttons to accidentially hit and its wireless. Very cool. The only bad thing I could really say is that it runs off of batteries and sometimes my computer stays on for two, three days at a time and it kills the battery. But I know thats my fault. It s attractive looking and it s an optical. It is very comfortable to use. Im on my computer every day working on stuff and I love the feel of this one and ease of the scrolling device in the middle, it glides instead of clicks like my last one. And my hand forms to it perfectly. couldn t ask for a better mouse.... Read the full review: great by armyissuedwife |

Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 ... ve been using a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 for about 6 months. I bought it because I have arthritis and the ergonomics of the mouse mean that it fits perfectly into my palm requiring the minimum of finger movement. The fact this is a laser mouse means the sensitivity is excellent and it can be used n virtually any surface. It has excellent battery life, a number of reprogrammable buttons on the thumb position (useful fr surfing commands) and a 5 way scroll wheel which I feel lost without when using other mice. It is also very robust having survived several unintentional dousings in various liquids from my 3 young children And now the Technical bit The fre... Microsoft Trackball Optical ... the Ney sayers of the MS optical track ball, I say, What, the Logitech track ball better, WHAT, what rock are you under, now granted that the current asking price of over $100 us ( because its out of production ) is a bit steep, and because I have my supply of them that I procurred when the price of 24.99 was soo reasonable. I ve even concidered selling a couple, then thought better of it. Logitechs trackballs in no way compare, they either have a model with No scroll wheel ( useless) or there models with a scroll wheel and only 2 buttons, no back or page forward buttons, anyone that thinks they compare in any way, Just has Never used the Mirco...
