With the present-day selection of mice, that all possible refinements offer. How everything still participates optical scanning, Intellieye, radio-mice and something I it wisely already almost to mark as miracles, that there is still the keen aged Microsoft Mouse. Okay, completely the good old Mouse doesn't participate she/it either, has gotten me the Wheel-Variante I. However everything of the row after.

The purchase-decision:

I must confess, at the moment as I me this mouse has bought, there was the optical scanning not yet. I will therefore face me a radio-mouse, a Trackball, a normal mouse with the decision or, to buy a Wheelmouse just. Since I had installed a Logitech-Funkmaus already once, this retired from the start. There were transfer-mistakes permanently what led to an impossible handling of course. In the meantime, I, that this didn't care about the mouse, participate however known but at my calculator. I could not befriend with a Trackball either since it doesn't participate jedermanns matter the ball always to steer only with the thumb. The decision fell schlieslich on the Microsoft-Wheelmouse, to the one because she/it lies in my hand optimally, to the other because the radio-ions of the wheel convinced me and to the third because I had done already sufficiently negative experiences with lowcost-mice.

The delivery capacity:

In the box, that was as always much to big, the following parts were packed.

- of course the mouse
- a polyglot installation-instruction
–a CD with drivers
–an adapter of PS/2 on the serial interface. , at that time USB was another foreign word,


The installation:

since I had a PS/2-port. I infected the mouse at this of course. The serial interface remained free so however. After him/it latest-type the matching driver came discover new hardware the obligatory hint and was installed by WIN 95. The mouse worked optimally.


The mouse:

The mouse lies like already mentioned in my hand optimally. The sufficiently long inlet offers an enormous movement-space. The buttons has do a good pressure-point and the Scrollrad. It comes turn this to the inadvertent pressing the Scrollrades during one either. The mouse participates in the inner of the mouse 2 years in my property and until on a few cleaning of the buyer-roles in the meantime, she/it always worked very well. The conversation-behavior participates already as sensational, to mark. Each point of the screen can be hit absolutely precisely. Noteworthy should be as well that I use no Mousepad but on the table-surface with the mouse works.

My result:

I have approximately 60.- DM payed for the mouse, at that time.And I can only say it was each mark worth. A favorable alternative to this battery eating radio - and optical mices.
