Advantages: never clogs, works without a mat, well built
Disadvantages: pricey compard to other mice, is bigger, so takes some getting used to
its funny how we used to have to put up with things that irritated us, we were sure that there was probably a better way of doing it, but we werent sure how and no one had come up with it yet. Like microwave popcorn and aunt bessies yorkshire puds, all examples of things that make our lives easier and happier.
Well Microsoft's Intellimouse Explorer is another example of the phenomenon. If your mouse has a ball, your out of date, and you have yet to experience one of those moments that give you a little smile as you know we are as a society are moving in the right direction. Okay, overplayed I know but to get rid of the little ball in your mouse is probably one of the easiest steps you can take to making using your computer a more enjoyable experience.
