Advantages: Virtually no cleaning, responsive, lots of buttons, comfortable

Disadvantages: Collects some dirt after a while

Fed up with my old mouse clogging up all the time, I decided to splash out on the Intellimouse Optical. From the word go you'll wonder how you ever managed without it, its surprising just how much responsive it can be.

What's more there is no cleaning required - well almost. Although there are no rollers to clog up I've found that the pads at the bottom can collect a bit of dirt, but this can be easily wiped off. Still much easier to maintain than a 'traditional' mosue.

If you're into games playing then this is definately for you - ever noticed that your mouse always jams at the worst possible moment? You'll also find that the mouse fits comfortably in your hand, and suitable for left and right handed users, with five customisable buttons. Again, very handy for games and also web browsing, as you can assign browser functions such as 'Back' or 'Forward' to the extra buttons.
