When pressure is applied when using the pen, the Graphics Tablet detects up to 512 levels of pressure and passes this information to the Graphics application.

The pen and mouse use Radio frequency signals to communicate with the Graphics Tablet so they are cordless. In addition, the mouse that comes with the Tablet does not have a mouse ball. This means you don't have the frustration of the mouse slipping and sliding when it picks up dirt from the desktop.
