I hate mice. I swear, I'm not designed to use them. I go through them so fast its unbelievable. I don't understand why though, I'm a keyboard shortcut person at heart. I only use mice when I'm gaming really, but I guess I do game a fair bit. Wired mice are annoying - I often manage to break the wire by bending it in silly places too many times, and my desk is quite a mess, so I often get the wires caught under things and feel that 'tug' where theres more resistance than normal - which messes up my aim in first person shooters, and I *hate* that! I had been umming and erring as to whether to get this particular mouse in a while. It's features were exactly what I was looking for - cordless and optical, with rechargeable batteries. However, as some of you may be aware, Packard Bell are not renound for their input-device making skills. Also, there appeared to be no mention of this product on their website, and hardly on the net at all. What finally pushed me to buy was the fact that I saw the mouse in Curry's incorrectly priced at £30, so I thought if I was saving £5 I would get it. My thanks must go to kimgraham whose comment on my Eunuched opinion set my pulses racing, as she pointed out that Packard Bell have produced an Optical AND Cordless Mouse. Eventually curiosity got the better of me and I raided my Piggy Bank and headed towards PC World to buy the Packard Bell Cordless Optical Mouse. But before I left, picture this scene, an open wallet with my credit card cringing down as far as it could get and me standing over it with a stern look on my face, a chair in one hand and a 15 foot bull whip in the other. “Come out here” I roared and the wimp of a credit card just pushed itself further into the dark recesses. ...
