Wacom Cintiq 12WX ... I am taking an A-Level in Graphics, we are constantly receiving freebies to try and test and recently, we received one of the high market Wacom models. The Cintiq 12WX came to our college wrapped in technological warmth and love, and with every part we opened, I soon found that this model was nothing like the others. The model consists of a small, thin A4 size piece of equipment with a smooth anti scratch screen and Digital Pen. I had heard that it was just like using a digital form of paper to store work, but I hadn t expected a technological wonder piece. Wacom Volito2 Pen ... first got this product a year ago as a Christmas present and I have used it every day since. It comes in a stylish black design with a silver and black pen. The design is very simple and is around 20cm x 20cm, so fits easily onto your computer desk surface. There is a section on the pad inwhich you leave the pen so it is always with the pad. The pad can be connected to the computer by USB, so it is easy to attach/ detach from the computer and can easily be transported around. The pen is wireless and doesn t require any batteries, it works simply by you pressing down onto the pad using the pen and moving it around to navigate the cursor on screen. Genius! - FEATURES - ... Wacom Cintiq 21UX ... I had been saving up for one of these for a while and when I got it I was truley amazed at what a wonderfull product it was. As a hobby I like to make 3d models for computer games. This requires painting textures in photoshop, and the amount this monitor has improved my texturing just from the touch screen capabilities is phenominal. I would truly advise getting one if your an industry proffessional in the CG industry, or to anyone who can afford it with an interest in digital artwork. The sensitivity is amazing, also it measures pen tilt so if your using a marker pen or spray pen on it then you get very similar effects to real life. The cost may however be a limit...
