Wacom Volito2 ... wanted to buy a graphic tablet but was put off by the high prices. But then I came across the Volito2. This is great value for money especially if you haven t used one before and want to see whether it s for you. The area may be smaller than some of its dearer competitors (which sell tablets which can be A4 size!) but for beginners this is perfect. Although it is difficult to use if you want to use it for computer art and like to have a big area the compact size of this tablet is more suited to people who just want to try it out. Wacom Intuos3 A4 USB Special Edition ... using an optical mouse for many years, I felt I needed a new tool to use with my design work which would give me greater accuracy and control over my work. So, after begging the boss for a new toy , we got the Wacom Intuos3 A4 tablet at work. It was very easy to install. It simply plugged into a USB socket on my iMac and once the installation disc had run, it was ready to go. Even though Macs come with drivers for most printers and other external accessories, I still ran the instal disc as it adds a new preference panel in the System Preference section. Aiptek Slim Tablet 600U ... ve been using tablets for years now, my first one being a small and simple Trust tablet but later upgrading to the Aiptek SlimTablet 600U and (finally) a Wacom. If I m completely honest, the Wacom is the only one that hasn t broken yet. However, the problem I experienced with the Aiptek tablet was so unusual I expect it was just a one-off.
