I was bought this wireless mouse for christmas and have had it stored up in my desk for years, not thinking to use it - what a mistake that was!
This is a wireless mouse, which means that there is no trailing wire from the mouse to the computer, be it a laptop or a desktop - it connets via a USB adaptor, which is the other object seen in the left of the photo.
Setting up the mouse is very easy, just plug in the adaptor and follow a few simple steps, and you're ready to go. The range of the mouse is also very good - I have stood halfway across the room and still been able to use my mouse from there.
One point I'd like to make is that the size of the mouse is quite small, around half the size of a standard mouse. This was fine for me, as I have relatively small and dextrous fingers, but for people with larger hands, or those with perhaps not as much finger control, I wouldn't recommend this mouse.
Another thing worth pointing out is that there is no signal when the battery life in the mouse is running low - it uses two AAA batteries - so it's always useful to have some spare ones around. Another point to make is that this is only a very simple mouse - right- and left-click buttons and a scroller.
Finally, the price - this can vary qutie a lot between websites, but you shouldn't need to pay more than £11-12 for this - keep searching until you find one for this price!
