I will start by saying that tecknika have released a new mouse which is the upgrade to the one in the picture, it is fundamentally the same, just looks more modern and has 2 extra buttons and this is the product I purchased, not the older one in the picture from dooyoo. I first wanted an optical mouse a few weeks ago because I got fed up with my tesco value mouse! I have a laptop with a damaged key pad and need a mouse these days. I noticed this one at tesco and decided it was worth a try as it was a decent price and of course wireless.
It is mainly black and has a roller in the middle so that you can scroll up and down the page when needed. It has two buttons on the side which I haven't really used but I believe they are to magnify the screen. It fits nicely into your hand and is a large mouse. The left and right buttons are fairly easy to press. Overall it looks stylish and modern, and only costs £8.99. You also receive a USB device which plugs into a USB slot on your computer/laptop, this sends out the signal and will pick up what you do. The mouse is also optical, this is great because it is very easy to move around. The mouse is fun off of batteries and the USB receiver doesn't need any batteries as it uses power from the computer. This is compatible with laptops and desktop computers. Overall I believe this to be a stylish mouse that is brilliant value.
I would recommend this to anyone who is fed up of having a cord to there mouse, it's perfect for laptop users who do not like using there keypad and prefer a mouse. It is easy to install and doesn't take long to get used to. The price is fantastic as I have seen them for double and triple the price. I have had no issues with it and I have used it for 3 weeks now, these are only available at tesco as technika products are exclusive to tesco.
This product gets 4 stars from me, its a solid mouse that looks great, the only reason it loses a star from me is the fact that the USB stick is rather large and I have nearly snapped it off a couple of times. This is partly because I am very clumsy though!
Thanks for reading my review, I hope that it helped :)
My first impressions of this mouse were good as this was my first wireless mouse. The mouse itself fit very comfortably into my hand, it wasn't too bulky like other mouse's I have used in the past therefore was good in that respect. Also it felt as if I could move around much more freely since there were no wires to get in the way.
However I found that after only about 2 hours of using the mouse the batteries were all ready starting to run out so I then changed the batteries (it takes 2 AAA batteries by the way) and again they didn't last too long except this time when I went to replace them it seemed as if the batteries had leaked inside somehow, I assumed it might just be the batteries I used but it did the same to a new set I put in therefore I decided to get rid of it and go back to my old wired mouse.
It may just have been a faulty mouse but in my opinion it is cheaply made so you get what you pay for. I would suggest spending a little extra money on a more reliable mouse. Personally I wont be buying a wireless mouse again as I think it is too much bother replacing the batteries on a regular basis.
Technika wireless mouse
We found this is the best mouse we have tried to date. I bought it in Tesco's on offer for around £6.
I think that was a real bargain. I found it usually is on sale for around £7.45 at Tesco's. It is very comfortable to use and much easier to move around the mat than a wired mouse.
No wires to get in the way !
This is obviously a bonus , as we are adding more and more gadgets to our computers, there just seems to be one big mess of wires behind our computer. So I thought I would give the wireless mouse a try.
I've only found the one colour of mouse which is the one I have got its black with a silver edging to it. Bit boring but as it works well looks aren't everything.
It takes two AAA batteries. . When you have new batteries in the mouse it works really well and quickly. We found the cursor moved a lot quicker around the screen than our old one with a wire. It has a red sensor underneath and it needs to be placed on a mouse mat.
Found we are using the mouse for up to three hours a day in total and the batteries run low. The cursor then starts to flicker around the screen without any control so use decent batteries and have some spare ones kept to one side as there is nothing more annoying than the batteries going in your mouse and not being able to use the computer properly Batteries don't last long so put in some decent ones
There are two buttons and a scroll wheel which can be used to click the curser on the screen. The mouse came with instructions and was very easy to set up. We had it up and running in around five minutes.
I think I'll go for more wireless products in the future.
