Microsoft Trackball Explorer ... has to be one of the oddest looking trackball mice on the market, but it works like a dream. Having tried both a thumb and finger trackball I have to say the finger operated one works best for me. The shape supports the whole hand in a gentle position (although I also use a wrist rest with it) and the scroll wheel, and button configuration are really ergonomically designed. One thing I noticed in particular is how comfortable the large trackball is. Due to the size it is quite easy to shift the cursor around the screen with minimal effort on the fingers. The thumb sits perfectly on the right button (which is curved so the thumb rests in a natural position) and scroll... Read the full review: I'll never go back!! by Indialk |

Microsoft Trackball Optical ... recently built a new computer and so my wife decided she d like to use my old one. She loved the old IntelliMouse trackbal that was attached to it so I decided to get a new one so we could have one each. When I went down to Dixons, it turned out they didn t stock it anymore. All they had was this new Optical Trackball so I thought I d get that as new probably meant better! The Optical Trackball boasts a few extra features than the good old IntelliMouse... 1) No moving parts! The IntelliMouse was just like a normal mouse with wheels and stuff but this Optical Trackball is quite different. If you pop the ball out of it s socket you can see a little camera and s... Microsoft Intellimouse Trackball 1.0 ... bought the InetlliMouse Trackball from Dixons because I had so little desk space. It took a little getting used to and for the first couple of days I had to stop myself from draging it across the desk to try and move the mouse cursor! Another thing to get used to is the position of the left and right mouse buttons that are situated on the side of the unit. You use your thumb to click the buttons (lower for left and upper for right) and finger to roll the ball. Next to the trackball is the very usefull scroll wheel. I don't know how I ever coped without this little wonder! Before I was dragging the mouse all over the desk and now I just rest my hand on the...
