Advantages: Price, ease of installation

Disadvantages: Tacky feel, pen broke

This little tablet was the first one I ever used, attracted by the prospect of easier Photoshopping and the nice price.

The tablet is thin and small, but quite comfortable to rest your wrist on. There's a navigation bar (of sorts) at the top, but I find it easier to leave that as the default 'not in use' as I imagine with a tablet this small it could become annoying. Also expect an installation disk with it which is required for Windows XP/lower.

The whole product is made of a firm grey plastic - it feels a little tacky (the pen especially, it started shedding parts of itself within a few months) but safe enough to take the force of handling/wrist pressure. At the top there is a small hole to stand the pen in, which some would find very useful.

This tablet stood the test of time (around 2 years), but for a good few months before I discarded it, it was malfunctioning strangely. The pressure sensitivity became a random hit-and-miss in Photoshop, and sometimes I would have to shake the pen in order to have the tablet recognise it (not a battery problem, I assure you). Because it became so hard to use, I abandoned it for the Aiptek SlimTablet 600U. However, until the malfunctions, this was a great tablet for a newcomer like myself to do digital artwork with. It's great value for money considering it lasted almost 2 years!

Summary: Ideal for new designers that haven't used a tablet before.
