Sanyo EM-S1567 ... old microwave stopped working and looked in different shops. I had a budget of £50 and bought the Sanyo EM-S1567S from Argos. S is on the end of model number because it is in silver. It is very easy and simple to use, by the touch buttons and a clear display. The first six buttons are: Baked Potatoe, Drink, Popcorn, Frozen Meal, Pizza and Reheat. The next set of buttons are Power, Kitchen Timer, Cook Time, Weight Cook, Weight Defrost and Speed Defrost. Below these are the number buttons that are used to enter cooking time or setting the clock, by using the clock button. The other remaining buttons are Reset and Stop/Start. Panasonic NN-A554W ... need not have returned the first oven to Currys. Once we had mastered that the start button for the convection oven also set the temperature. Although on page 32 it states that "The oven starts at 150C" (presumably a default setting) this is followed by a bold boxed statement "The oven will automatically work on HIGH Microwave Power if a cooking time is entered without the oven temperature previously being selected" Well it seemed to us that you could not enter a cooking time until the oven had finished preheating to the starting temperature. The engineering and quality seem to be what is expected from Panasonic but the manual is awful and you... Neff H5642 ... Neff H5642 is a very good microwave. It s got a great chrome finish which makes it look very stylish and modern - it looks good almost everywhere. I myself bought mine a little while ago and so far reliability wise it s been perfect - I ve had no problems with it. It seems to be very well built and should last a long time. This is a 1,000 watt microwave and costs around £350, which, in my opinion is pretty pricey but it is very nice. Cooking food is very easy, and it seems to be reasonably quiet when doing it. I found that food was cooked very well in this microwave, the 1,000 watts particularly help when heating up drinks. Overall, this Neff H5642 is a good...
