De Deitrich DMP 401: ... years ago we extended and completely refitted our kitchen. Instead of a free-standing cooker we opted for a built-in oven and separate hob. This way we could have the main oven at working-surface height and avoid possible accidents when moving hot food. The model we chose was the De Dietrich DMP401D in white. It looks stunning and has what we need: two ovens (one with a fan) and a grill that could be used w...

LegendaryMrDude Panasonic NNA772S
... is still a bit wary of it... the default mode of operation, if you just enter a time and press "start", is to microwave on full power. Mrs Dude wasn't aware of this and thought that it would default to the convection oven. So when she attempted to cook a Frey Bentos pie for 35 minutes and it defaulted to full Microwave power (rather than 230deg in the convetional oven), she was a little surprised, disappointed and hungry. The fire alarm was none too pleased either. And as for the pie, I was worried that it could have been the start of the China Syndrome!!! ... microwave oven is one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. 100 years ago, who would have ever imagined of a magical box that sends waves through the air and heats our food in just a matter of minutes or seconds. If this simply brilliant device existed back then, they would have called it witchcraft and burned you at the stake for using it. I am glad that is not the case today for I would not want to be burned at the stake. My microwave at home is the Panasonic NNV672S, which I purchased for about £200 from Amazon a while ago. I tried to look it up now, but I could not find it on the web site. T...

... cheap, good quality, combi microwave/oven/grill. Bought for work and in use 24hrs for the last 3 years with no faults. Everyone on shift who uses it are impressed by it. Several have actually bought one for home they were that impressed. Because you can combine the oven/microwave, grille/oven, grille/microwave its very versatile too! I would recommend one to anybody, the only (obvious) problem is the top casing gets hot when using grille or oven, not hot enough to burn but I'd be careful with kids around. ...
