With a built in kitchen timer i could not possibly ask any more from a micro wave. Samsung CE1071S ... purchased this microwave a week ago after my old one gave up. Iwas a bit nervous about trying to get used to a new one but this was really simple to use it has an easy dial to turn for timing. It is very efficient as it is 900 watts and cooks evenly, so is perfect for cooking from the freezer when in a hurry.It is also very quiet and the turntable turns smoothly.The oven also cooks great as well. It has a helpful and easy to use interface with a few buttons to select the type of cooking and a knob to twist and adjust the time or weight. The internal space is reasonable although we cannot fit some of our larger plates in easily. The inside is relatively easy to keep clean and the base plate and runners are removable. The quick start option is excellent and very handy. You push the button to increase the time by 30 second increments and then it starts automatically. Cookworks Silver Manual Microwave ... bought this microwave just after I had moved into my first house, I had no no cooker and not even a bed so money was tight. I flicked through the Argos catalogue and picked out one of the cheapest microwaves I could. As I have now been in my house for a while I could affrod replace my microwave but I have not as I don t need to. The microwave has all the basic functions and is powerful enough to heat up many item quickly, you can also vary the power to adjust for different foods e.g. if you are defrosting meat.
