Well worth the money and looks really nice

I recently decorated my kitchen and wanted a cream microwave to match my new decor. I searched the Internet for cream appliances and fell in love with this microwave as soon as I came across it. I will be honest, I don't really use microwaves often so colour, price and how it looked were the most important things to me. I wasn't really looking for a great spec appliance. When it arrived, it was packaged safe and well and very easy to unpack and set up, even for a appliance phobe like me lol. Even Without reading the instructions, the microwave was very easy to use and self explanatory. The colour was spot on, exactly like in the picture and was fit for purpose and general use. It heats food well. When following instructions on food packaging this microwave does what it should. The only bad thing is that you can only fit average size round dinner plates in it. Larger ones and standard square ones do not fit in which is a shame. All in all this microwave is worth the price.

        A good basic microwave

We were in our house about a week when our sanyo microwave which we had had since we were married bit the dust out of nowhere. It wasn't exactly what we wanted or needed when you just move in, surrounded by boxes and bills (!) and I was determined that I wasn't buying a fancy microwave as I don't think they last any longer than a basic one, these things aren't built to last like they used to! All I went looking for was a basic microwave, not a microwave oven, just a microwave that had decent enough reviews and didn't cost the earth. I ended up purchasing this Daewoo Cream Microwave KOR6N9RC for around £60 on amazon. Prices vary and you can expect to pay betwween £55 and £65 for this microwave online. Out kitchen was quite light but yet I really didn't want a white microwave, but the cream was a change and I thought it would go well with the current decor and it does! This is not a fancy microwave. It does has an 800w output, which I did want and has a 20 litre capacity. My large dinner plates do not fit which is disappointing, but not something I thought through when purchasing, so it is a bit of a nuisance if you want to reheat some dinner and you have to move it to another plate. So, it isn't so much Daewoo's fault, as mine for not looking properly at the capacity and size of the turning plate. Another thing that I didn't realise about this product until it actually arrived and then it was marked on the box is that it is an energy efficient microwave. If left at 0 if will go to sleep itself and not use any power as it isn't sitting on standby and will then come on when you open the door. So, you can leave it on at the plug without costing yourself any extra. If times of increasing energy prices, this can only be a good thing! I'll be honest and say that I have not and will be unlikely to use some of the features on this microwave including the 5 power levels. There is a touch panel and a dial to control the time. I have made use of the defrost option for defrosting bread and this has been easy and successful. There is also an auto cook button which I didn't really have much success with when heating a beverage despite that being one of the things suggested for auto cook beside the button. So, in reality, apart from defrosting I tend to simply use the dial to heat food, rather than anything else, and for this, the dial is very easy to work. This is a nice looking microwave and certainly one that is pretty straightforward, especially if you are like me and try to avoid anything to technical. If you want a microwave to simply heat that doesn't cost the earth and is easy to understand then this is a pretty good one.
