Advantages: Quick start button, neat design
Disadvantages: Buttons on the inside of door, defrost function
I've had this microwave for almost two years and have been pleased with its performance. It's reliable, having never had any maintenance or performance issues. I use the machine fairly regularly, probably around 5 times a week, so I can't really judge it against the high usage a family might demand. But for my use it's done very well.
The design is chic with only three buttons on the outside (reheat, stop/clear and start). While this is attractive and neat, it does mean the door has to be open if you're using any of the defrost, reheat or other programming settings which are on a panel on the inside. This isn't a drawback from my point of view, but programming does perhaps take a little longer.
The quick start function is very useful - press the 'start' button and it automatically heats in increments of 30 seconds. When defrosting, the product often gets cooked on the outside before being fully thawed inside, perhaps due to a lack of options for the defrost programme. But I've never seen any other microwave do it better.
Summary: Perfect for regular light use. No problems with this machine.
