... bought this Microwave about 7 months ago and it was a great buy. The black shiny casing is classy and funky, stands out in the kitchen as you would expect. Saying that it shows up dust and finger prints very easily! The inside is large which is a plus and apparently has some sort of new technology that works more effectively than normal microwaves, all that I can say is that it works very well and is quiet as well. The only problem I have with it is that though there is a wealth of different temperature settings, for frozen, one touch settings ect, it is difficult to get exact times with the timer dial. We initially choose it because we wanted one with touch controls, and that was at least 800 watts, higher wattage means more power and less cooking time. This one had both of those and we also liked the design. There are three buttons on the outside Reheat, Stop/Clear, Start / Speed Cook, all the other touch controls are on the inside and can only be seen when you open the door. I think this gives the Daewoo KOR6Q8GSL a very sleek and stylish look with no nooks and crannies to trap the dirt. I have found it quite easy and simple to use. As my memory serves it was a gift from a cousin or other relative that simply doesnt know me or what I need and bought me something that they just assumed that a young person would need when they moved house. On the up side, the microwave I had was old and was about due to be replaced. So happily I gave away my old microwave in favour of this Daewoo model. I really wish I had not. Please dont get me wrong, this microwave oven does a perfectaly ok job. It heats food just fine. It has several different settings including a defrost mode.
