... know why and we have tried to figure it out but cant find anything. It seems to get louder as you go so we are going to just invest in a new one. I think if GE would just go back over and look at it and see what they might have did wrong then it would be a great microwave. Oh and another thing is the buttons do not work sometimes so that is a downside also. If I were you I would definitely put in the budget to spend a little more on another one instead of this one because it is not worth the money to be honest with you....more

This is a great microwave. I bought mine from walmart for about 60 bucks so it was a good price. The only bad thing is about after 3 months of use it got really loud when in use.
