Hinari HMW048
by tinkerbell69
I have owned this Hinari HMW048 Microwave for nearly 2 Years now and I've not had a Single problem with it. My main Reason for buying it was because of its appearance, it has a Mirrored door Front which looks very Stylish and I knew it would look perfect in my Kitchen. You'd be Surpised at the number of Compliments I've had about my ... "Trendy" Microwave haha.
The Microwave is a good Size with a 20L Capacityso I can even fit my Larger Plates inside it. The Door opens and Closes really well and does it Gently which is obviously going to have a positive effect on the Life Span of the Microwave, it is also Child Friendly so that your Little Ones won't be able to Open it. It has an LCD Display which shows the Time as a 12 or 24 Clock when you're not Microwaving anything, otherwise it counts down the Time remaining of whatever it is you have in the Microwave. The Controls are all Easy to use an pretty Self-Explanatory, so this is a handy Applicance for those like myself who aren't too Techincally minded!
The Microwave has 6 Different Power Levels which are 800W,640W,480W,320W,160W,0W and 9 Auto-Cook Programs which are all explained really well in the User Manual. I usually only use the quite basic Options when I'm Microwaving anything but I've been very pleased with the performance of the Microwave. It also has a 1000W Grill which comes in Very handy and then there's the Auto-Weight and Speed-Defrost Functions, in my opinion this Microwave has pretty much everything you need.
The inside of the Microwave is really easy to Clean which for Me is a big Positive as I can't stand a Dirty, Greasy Microwave! The Microwave Plate inside is easy to remove and the inside can be Cleaned really well very quickly. The outside of the Microwave isn't so easy to Keep Clean which is probably the only Negative about this Appliance, as it is Mirrorred and Dark in Colour it gets very Dusty and the Mirrored Door gets covered in Finger Prints really easily so I do find myself having to clean the front quite often.
This Microwave cost me £50 in my local Makro but I'm sure there must be a few other stores that sell it too. Overall, it is a very Stylish and Efficient Appliance. Read the complete review |

Hinari MX 704C

i brought this microwave oven a few years back now when we was decorating our kitchen. when we brought our house we decided on the colour scheme red for our kitchen and once that was decided we started looking round for accessories and appliances to match. the hinari lifestyle was exactly what we wanted.
the microwave oven came in ... various colours so meant we could have it in red to match. this makes it ideal for many other households to match their appliances.
when we brought it we thought it was quite cheap compared to some of the others on the market (think we paid about £40).
the microwave is a 800w so quite powerfull and comes with only 2 dials which make it easy to use. the first dial is the timing where you can set how long you want the microwave to cook for and the second is a setting dial where you can choose a different setting from low to high (including defrost).
the microwave is very easy to clean, the glass try pulls out easily and so doea the wheeled disk which helps turn the tray. the electric cord is long enough to fit from most worktops and as the microwave isnt big and clumpy it will not look out of place in any kitchen. Read the complete review |

Hinari EMX939CEGSS

We purchased this Hinari microwave and grill to replace our microwave, which was also a combination oven. I admit it was cheap, and from a supermarket that specialises in cheaper products however, I really wish I had saved my money and bought something that would do a better job more easily.
The Hinari EMX (Or Hinari ... lifestyle as the label says) is a 800w microwave which has a grill function. As with most microwaves you can adjust the % of power used inorder to defrost items or to cook them a little slower. You can also microwave an item and grill the surface at the same time however, after 6 years of use I am yet to find out why I would do this. You can also just grill on its own, which should be perfect to do items such as cheese on toast.
The microwave has 5 different buttons to allow you to change the settings and then a timer/power button and this is where the problem lies. To actually get the microwave to do what you would like it to do you have to press a rather large combination of buttons. Then you turn the nob to adjust the time, this then spins itself round so fast that you are unable to actually set the time accurately. It also appears to be impossible to set the timer for more than a minute if you are using the microwave on a lower power function.
The grill itself is also a problem as it smells of burning when you are using it. Due to the mesh which covers the grill it is almost impossible to keep clean as it catches food, then when turning the grill on this then burns and creates a nasty smell and taints the food. As a result I have given up using this function.
One bonus of this microwave however, is that it has lasted 6 years. Mores to the pity! I'm waiting for it to break so that I can get a new one. However, I have the feeling that this thing will be living forever! argghhh! Read the complete review |
