Next pink microwave - Great value for money (Next Microwave)

We was brought this microwave as a wedding present. I must say I am pleased with it but there are some disadvantages. Peronally if i were you I would go for a microwave with a better known brand name. I don't think Next have quite got their microwave designs off to a fine art and are co.centrating more on the look of this. Which of course is great if that is all you want it for - but lets be honest, not many of us buy a microwave just to look good, although if it does its a great advantage. Let me tell you more about it:

The product:
A pink retro microwave with silver crome finish handle and dials.

800W power output, 20 litre/0.7cu ft interior capacity, 6 variable power levels including defrost, 30 minute manual control timer.

The advantages:
It looks really great and goes really really well with a pink retro kitchen. The noise level is low and it heats your food perfectly.
It is really cheap for a microwave at only £50 and is avaliable in a range of colours to suite your kitchen including red and green. Also widely avaliable in many Next stores and no need to order.

The disadvantages:
Although it is very multi functional and has six differnt settings from defrost to cool, warm and hot it is really hard to use and time just right. You cannot use the timer accurately meaning that your food/drink is either too hot or too cold. Also the heat settings are not in a temperature instead just a word ie cold and hot.

The summary:
I do love this microwave, i love the fact that it is avaliable in a range of colours and i especially love the pink one. It is definately value for money and really easy to use and function although hard to judge the time, I would suggest that you always test the heat of your food after using this.
