Being honest the majority of people use a microwave to defrost food or just to heat up something to eat quick. I brought this as a first microwave, both because i could use it as a conventional oven as well as a microwave and grill. The microwave is powerful and straight forward to use, with the quickstart ability if you only wish to microwave for a short period of time, such as a matter of minutes. The oven option is great as a back up, as i have a single built in oven i find it difficult to cook for larger numbers of guests, therefore having this ability meant i had more room to cook. I purchased this microwave a week ago after my old one gave up. Iwas a bit nervous about trying to get used to a new one but this was really simple to use it has an easy dial to turn for timing. It is very efficient as it is 900 watts and cooks evenly, so is perfect for cooking from the freezer when in a hurry.It is also very quiet and the turntable turns smoothly.The oven also cooks great as well.
